Shani Dev is the fiercest Devtaa
among the all Hindu gods. He is the son of Soorya Dev.
Bhavishya
Puraan, 1/15, says hat Soorya had two sons from his wife Sangyaa -
Shrutshravaa and Shrutkarmaa. Shrutshravaa became the Saavarni Manu for
the next Manvantar (the 8th Manvantar) and Shrutkarmaa is known as
Shanishchar. He is equal to Yam Raaj - his half brother - son of Soorya
and Shanaishchar's mother's shadow woman Chaayaa's son.
