are some Shaalgraam which are difficult to identify with some specific Deity.
There are many Deities in the form of Vishnu. It is difficult and impossible to
separate them individually all of them. But the following Shaalgraam should
never be worshipped -
--which have irregular angles,
--which are burst, burnt, stained, or warm to touch
--which are without Chakra
--which are embrocated (rubbed and frayed)

death of relative
--worshipping a stone with internal bursting causes the death of one's children
or relative
--worshipping a stone with no markings at all makes one losing his wealth
--worshipping a stone with ferocious aspect will bring sorrow and destruction of family
That is why one must select a worthy
stone to worship. Shaalgraam stones contain all the 14 realms, that is why when one
gifts a Shaalgraam he pleases Bhagavaan. At other places it is said that even
Shaalgraam stone is split, burst, open or cut open, it may be worshipped.
