(1) Gift.
(2) Blessings.
(3) Food graced by God. First food is offered to Bhagavaan or the deity. After the offering of sweets or fruits or dry fruits or food is made for Bhagavaan,
then is called Prasaad. This Prasad is distributed to Bhakt community after the Poojaa is finished. It is customary to have Prasaad after a worship (Poojaa) with great respect, Bhakti (devotion) and Shraddhaa. It doesn't need to be in a great amount, even sesame seed like quantity is enough. That is why people normally take it in their right hand putting their left hand beneath it. Although it may be in large amount also like full food. One mst take Prasaad aftr attending any Poojaa. If somebody does not give it, although one should distribute tit to all present there, one must ask for it. These is no harm in asking Prasaad. People also do not mind giving it, rathe they distribute it happily.

How the Prasaad Should be Distributed?
The practice is as follows -
The worshipper should first offer this Prasaad to his own Guru
Then the Shakti of Guru (wife of Guru)
Then his own Shakti (his own wife)
Then the elders on the right,
Then the younger on his left, and
Lastly he should take himself
[Mahaanirvaan Tantra, VI, ver 189, p 135]
