Rohinee Chandra Shayan Vrat
(Chap 206) Yudhishthir said - "Bhagavan, By doing whatever Vrat one gets long life, health, noble family in every life, tell me about that Vrat." Krishn said - "You have asked a very good question. Now I tell you about the secret Rohinee Chandra Shayan Vrat. One should worship the idol of Naaraayan with the names of Chandramaa. Whenever there is Poornimaa on Monday; or Rohinee Nakshatra on Poornimaa, on that day one should take bath with the water with mustard seeds and Panchgavya and do Jap of "Aapyaaya Swa..." etc Mantra (Yajur Ved, 12 | 112, 114) 108 times. If a Shoodra has to do this, he can do it by doing Jap of "Somaaya Namah", "Varadaaya Namah", "Vishnavey Namah" etc Mantra, and he should not talk to atheists. Then worship Madhusoodan's body parts with fruits and flowers along with pronouncing Chandramaa's names. Worship Rohinee also.

In the night sleep on floor. Next day, after taking bath, donate a pitcher full of water along with Ghee and gold pronouncing "Paap Vinaashaaya Namah". Keep fast the whole day, eat 28 morsels of meat and salt free food along with milk and Ghee. Then listen to Itihaas or Puraan etc for two Ghadee (50 minutes). One should offer white flowers to Vishnu. Whichever flower is available in whichever month, one should offer the same to Him. Thus one should do this Vrat for one year. At the end of he Vrat, Vratee should do Shayyaa Daan (bed). Make two idols of Chandra (6 fingers tall) and Rohinee (4 fingers tall). Studded with 8 pearls and covered with white clothes, put them in a Kaansaa pot filled with rice. Put this pot on another pot filled with milk. In the morning, donate it to Braahman couple with Agahanee rice, sugarcane, and fruit. Then offer white cow whose mouth is covered with gold and feet are covered with silver along with a Kaansaa pot. Worship the Braahman couple with clothes and gold. Pray that "As Rohinee doesn't leave you at any time, in the same way all these should not leave me any time." and give all things to that couple.

Who wishes for Moksh, this is the best Vrat for him. Whoever does it he gets beauty, health, and long life. He becomes the lord of Tri-Lokand lives in Chandra Lok for 2,100 Kalp.

Post Script (Chap 207) Krishn Jee said - "I told you about Vrat, daan and Dharm. The root of this world is Dharm, so you also observe Dharm. One should not believe in those who talk in opposition of Ved. I told you all this, because I love you, otherwise one should not talk about these things in front of proud and fools, atheists and non-believers. Now I am going to Dwaarakaa. I will come again at the time of your Yagya and celebration." After saying this Krishn went to Dwaarakaa.

Sumantu Muni said - "Hey Mahaaraaj Shataneek, Whatever Yaagyavalkya Muni asked Vashishth Jee and whatever he answered; and whatever Krishn said to Yudhishthir; Vyaas Jee had written it before. I told you the same. Victory to Paraashar and Satyvatee's son Vyaas Jee whose writings are read by world.
