6 - Dashrath's Plan (6)
Ram, Sita and Laxman Go to Forest, Meet Kevat

"You are the justice, love, care and refuse, consolation, direction,
I leave this kingdom in your able hands until new king's installation".
"What has gone and what will come; this all is under your protection,
Guru! Please bestow your blessings and accept my respect, adoration".

"O Ram! You are the God; all activities are yours past time, noble act,
Please excuse Kakeyee; you are beyond comprehension and percept".  
Ram, Sita and Lxman were in the chariot, the citizens were following,
In the night they had rest on the outskirt of the city; river was flowing.

In the night Ram got up and asked Sumantra to start the journey soon,
They reached to the city of Srengverpur, some time in the afternoon.
Nishadraj was the administrator of the city, an old time friend of Ram,
He came with folded hands, offered his love and respect to Sita Ram. 

"O Ram! It is pleasure that you came to my place with Sita, Laxman,
Please come to my humble home, your presence will make it, O man".
"Dear friend Nishad, it is forbidden for me to visit cities and palace,
I have given my words for fourteen years, I am to live in forest place".

"I will eat only fruits, roots, leaves, yogurt and drink milk, and water,
How are you doing here, how is your family, wife, son and daughter?"
"It has been long time, you did not come to my place; now we are here,
My father has asked me to be in jungle, Bharat will be the king there".

Then the minister Sumantra explained to Nishad the incident in detail,
It was a shock to Nishadraj, "Oh! It was clever Kakeyee's black mail".
Nishadraj arranged for sweet fruits, milk, yogurt, and the nice showers,
The family and friends of Nishad came to greet Sita, Ram with flowers.

In the night Nishad prepared soft beds of dry straw, wood and leaves,
Sita Ram were sleeping on Straw-beds, Laxman was in folded sleeves.
All night Laxman and Nishad were watching, talking on this incident,
Laxman said, "Ram is the creator, O! It is unnecessary to comment".

In the morning Ram welcomed every body, and took off his crown,
Ram and Laxman prepared the knotted hairs, put in flowers brown.
The minister Sumantra was watching this incident with painful tears,
"Oh! Kakeyee destroyed every thing, as a heartless witch smears".

Ram told to Sumantra, "Dear Sumantra! Please return to the home,
Say to dear father not to worry, we are doing fine; jungle is to roam". 
"After fourteen years, we will be back, please say respect to mothers,
I have no complain what so ever; at same time I cannot say for others".

Brother Laxman was furious as he said, "Please say good bye to all,
Ask Kakeyee to have super lighting, after all her pleasure is no small".
"O dear Ram! The king asked me to bring you, Sita, Laxman, home,
Please return back; in due course of time it will cool off, do not roam".

"Dear Sumantra I am committed and want to keep my father truthful,
Your request is understandable but my return at the time is not useful".
Dear Sita said, "O Sumantra! I am committed with my husband Ram,
The life in jungle will be pleasant with my Ram's unparalleled charm".

The minister Sumantra was silent, had no recourse, but return home,
He saluted to Ram, Sita, and Laxman; wished good luck as they roam.
Ram asked Nishad to make arrangement for crossing the Ganga River,
Sita prayed to the holy Ganga, for good time and safe return to River.

Sri Ram along with Sita and Laxman his brother,
Was standing on the bank of the holy Ganga River, 
The Ganga is full of waves; crystal clear is water,
The River is being considered Sun's dear daughter.

Ram is planning to cross the River sand was turning peach
He requested to the boatman, standing on the nice beach.
The boatman was fully cooperative and much joyous, 
He said, "Let me wash your lotus feet, Ram, O Pious!"

"Your feet are miraculous, I need to save my old boat,
A rock became Ahilya the beautiful woman, as we note.
I will take you across the River, please accept my prayer,
You are the merciful God, our lives the holiest savior".

"Okay, you please do, as you wish my dear boatman friend",
Said Lord Ram; it was His usual merciful devotional bend.
The boatman washed Lord Ram's feet with joy, reverence,
He purged all his sins, reserved the heaven, it was no offence.
