Ram Arrives in Lanka

Beautiful bridge was made of rocks, trees, and lumber in five days,
Ram was first to ride with Hanuman than Laxman shining with rays.
Sugreev, Neal, Nal, dwivid, Mayand, Angad all were walking nice,
Celestials, saints were very happy, greeted Ram by showering rice. 

Ram and Sugreev organized the army and made a suitable army camp,
Fruits, roots water was enough on the white hill atmosphere was damp.
Raven sent Shuk and Saran the spies to have details of Ram's huge army,
Vibhishan spotted the spies; Ram let them go; sent a message no warmly.

"Raven! You stole Sita, now I am here to fight, Lanka will be attacked,
Return Sita or face the calamity which your sinister activity has sacked"
Shuk and Saran came back to Raven on rooftop to show big monkeys,
Raven was seeing to leaders, all were strong, and he did not see flunkies.

Shuk said, "Raven please return Sita to Ram and avoid immense disaster,
Ram is noble, powerful, monkeys are millions, bring the house in order".
"I will never return Sita to Ram, I know how to fight, this is no big deal,
Better you go home, you both praise the enemy, try to save your meal".

Sugreev saw Raven on the terrace; he came and hit Raven by a jump,
Raven fell on floor; sugreev beat him more and then returned to camp.
Raven decided to stress Sita; he created a fake Ram's head and bow,
He went to Sita, said, "I killed Ram, and the head, bow is here to show".  

Sita turned faint and then she was crying hard, "Kakeyee you killed Ram,
Ram was so nice to you, noble, why you did it, understanding the harm".
A messenger called Raven from a meeting of Lanka's major army team,
Malyavant asked Raven to return Sita; seek apology from all as seem. 

Raven ignored the meeting even sincere request from his mother, wife, 
He was under the spell of proud, ignorance, destined to lose his life.
Ram decided how to attack Lanka on its four vivid protected entrances,
Neal is in the East, Angad the South, Hanuman the West, and no chances.

I will be on the North entrance to fight with Raven and sugreev in center,
Jambvan, Vibhishan will assist Sugreev; we will be flexible no matter.
Before the attack it was decided to send one final warning to Raven,
Angad was sent by Ram to talk with Raven else he would go to heaven.

Angad went to meet Raven in his palace and said, "You will be attacked,
This is your last chance to save Lanka, return Sita or all will be smacked.
Raven ran after Angad but Angad jumped on rooftop, had back to camp,
Ram ordered attack, Lanka was surrounded with monkey army champ. 

First the East gate was broken than the South and West gate were cleared, 
Angad was fighting with Indrajit successfully, all resistance were peered.
Rakshsas were feared with the arrows of Ram, Laxman, running to hide,
Indrajit was furious; he saw calamity on the rakshsas, fighting was wide.

Indrajit disappeared and sent Nagpash serpent arrows from the high sky,
Ram, Laxman were tied in Nagpash, fell unconscious; Indrajit had a sigh.
Sugreev, Vibhishan, Hanuman were worried, monkeys morale was low,
Indrajit went to Raven with the news, was jubilant, praising mighty bow.

Raven called Trijata and told, "Take Sita in Pushpak plane on war field,
Show her the death of brothers, convince her to meet me; have a shield".
Trijata took Sita in the war field; Sita became very sad, she cried hard,
"Sita! The Brothers are not dead, they will get up; Raven played a card".

Trijata consoled Sita, brought her back to Ashok Watika palace soon,
Sita was praying for Ram, Laxman in the night; in the sky was full moon.
Narad Risi sent celestial big bird the Garud to help Sri Ram and Laxman 
Garud cleaned the Nagpash swiftly; Ram, Laxman got up as fresh men.

The morale of monkey's, Hanuman, Sugreev, Vibhishan came back high,
All were greeting Ram, Laxman; with the good news Sita had relief sigh.
Raven became worried, he sent Prahast to fight, Durmukha died before,
Neal killed Prahast; now Raven came to the war ground, no delay more.

Hanuman took Ram on his shoulders to face wicked Raven on chariot,
Ram broke Raven's bow, chariot, and asked him to go home, no merit.
Raven felt much insulted he woke up Kumbhkaran to face Ram's army,
"Raven! You didn't listen before Mandodari, Vibhishan and even me".
