5 - Sita Ram's Wedding (1)
Ram sees Sita

In morning the Guru sent Ram Laxman to pick worship flowers,
The brothers went to a garden; it was excellent with gold towers.
In the center was a temple of goddess Parvati for royal worship,
Princess Sita was there with the friends, maids for Gouri worship.
As soon as Ram saw Sita, he liked her much and felt infatuated,
He said to Laxman "This is the princess brother, I feel effected,
She comes to worship; she is a possessor of unparalleled beauty,
I never felt like this for any woman, well we shall care for duty".
"The Lord is indicating that princess Sita, be my beloved wife,
In our family all ancestors had been very virtuous in their life".
A friend of Sita saw divine brothers, and came to the dear girls,
"O Sita! Come out, there are divine brothers, the human pearls".
Princess Sita came out, she saw man with unparalleled charm,
Became captivated of Ram, then thinking about family's norm.
The girls came near to Ram, Laxman, to see birds, on excuse,
Sita was infatuated with Ram's personality, what is to refuse.
Sita Ram are divine powers, in hearts they know each other,
In the form of man, woman they are acting, pleasing follower.
"It is getting late, we need to return home", said Sita's maid,
"Please overcome Ram's attraction, else, mother will be mad".
Sita went in Goiri Temple to offer her special prayer, worship,
"O Mother! Be merciful, you do understand my life's hardship.
I love Sri Ram, but for wedding my father has laid a condition,
My life is in your hands, Ram be my husband with the tradition".
The goddess accepted Sita's prayers; she spoke with holy joy,
"Dear Sita! You are a divine, have blessings, Ram is the boy".
"Your company with Ram is eternal, He will be your husband,
Yours, Ram's praise are infinite, more than particles of sand".
Sita came to home happily, offered respect, hugs to her mother,
Ram and Laxman went to the Guru respecting him as their father.
"Tomorrow is the special day for all the guests, trying for Sita,
The one who puts rope on the bow, he only holds hand of Sita"
The Guru explained to Ram about the ceremony and protocol,
Ram was captivated with Sita's beauty; she did touch his soul.
In the night Ram looked at full moon, simile it with Sita's face,
Then thought moon is with blemish, with anything Sita will ace.
Let all kings have the opportunity to test their strength and power,
I am confident that with the mercy of Lord Shiva I win this hour.
Next day Guru Vishwamitra was sitting with king Janak in seat,
Ram, Laxman were with Guru, their glowing presence was neat.
The brothers were youngest in the powerful kingly assembly,
Some were looking at them with curiosity in the Janak's family.
All guests did receive proper respect by Janak in the ceremony,
Janak welcomed the audience; then spokesmen came with honey.
"The king Janak laid the condition for princess Sita's wedding",
The holy bow of Lord Shiva named Pinak is heavy, no kidding".
"The one who will lift it and thread it with proper strong rope,
He only be wedded by Sita, else one will leave without hope".
"Princess Sita is most beautiful, virtuous woman, the divine,
We see various powerful human king, Raksashas, gods divine".
"Please try your power fully, we wish you the very best of luck,
If one is not sure of himself, be seated calmly, no need to duck".
The kings proceeded orderly, tried to lift the bow, mighty Pinak,
It was very heavy, did not move; kings' hearts broke as a chalk.
Some kings were angry, defeated; the faces were faded in shame,
All returned to their seats, who got up before in pride and fame.
Some mischievous kings made a group to lift jointly Shiva's bow,
The Pinak was immovable; the kings' stupidity did mar the show.
Some kings were happy, who did not tried to lift holy bow Pinak,
It was a whisper in women's quarters "the mighty kings just talk".
King Janak was worried "Oh! Nobody could lift the bow Pinak",
He said "I see the earth barren of Prowess, You kings, just talk".
"Please go away, I see, dear Sita does not have a suitable match,
Wedding condition can not be changed, it is a time's snarl catch".
Brother Laxman did not like Janak's these far insulting remarks,
He got up furiously and said "O king these are not healthy talks."
"No one should talk like this, in the presence of Lord Sri Ram,
Ram is all mighty, creator, sustainer, destroyer with His charm".
"If Ram orders, I can lift the earth, what of this old bow Pinak,
I can crush stars, I swear it, what I say is not a just lousy talk."
The Guru asked Laxman to cool off, then he requested to Ram,
"Please do what it takes to remove the worry of Janak, O Ram!"
"Dear Sita will join you, every body is worried in Janak's family,
We are waiting on you, I see defeated, sad the kingly assembly".
Sri Ram came to the Guru and king, offered his humble respect,
He was walking with the grace, charm; it was His avatar's an act.
Sita's mother Sunayana was worried, how will Ram do here?
She asked her secretary "It will be better to stop Ram, go there".
"O queen! Ram is not an ordinary man, look his glowing face,
He is the world's prowess, he can win all mighty kings in case".
Sita was praying in her heart " O Mother Parvati bestow mercy,
Provide super strength to Ram, my life caught in an emergency".
Ram was looking towards Sita; he found her face sad and pale,
He thought "delay in action will be dear, this is the hour to nail".
Ram offered prayers to Lord Shiva and lifted the holy bow Pinak,
He put the rope and then tried to test it; the Pinak broke as chalk.
It was tumulus sound of breaking the bow, as was noticed by all,
Sita was ecstatic, jubilant, for Janak the pleasure was not a small.
King Janak praised Ram and walked to him to offer loving hug,
Ram offered respect to Janak, some kings felt that under the rug.
Festive music was played; revered assembly called the princess,
Sita came with maids, with a garland in hands, full of promises.
She offered the beautiful garland to Ram with explicit pleasure.
Ram was her very heart, friend, husband and store of treasure.
Ram was smiling; he thanked princess Sita with special grace,
Sita was beautiful, cheerful; there was a radiant glow on face.
This was announced by the king that princess Sita weds Ram,
Special thanks were offered to Guru Vishwamitra and Sri Ram.
The priests, ministers advised to Janak to invite Ram's family,
Messengers are to be sent to Ayodhya, as decided by assembly.
