Hanuman goes to Lanka

Hanuman was happy after talking to Jambvan; he is having a challenge,
He went on a hilltop to proceed for the flight, he could see in big range.
He jumped in the sky, proceeded like an arrow from the bow of Ram,
The hills sink as Hanuman touches them; in golden color he was a charm.

Gods were worried to know the capability of Hanuman; they sent Sursa,
"I want you to be my food, please come in my huge mouth" said Sursa.
"Let me complete my mission Mother! Then I will become your food,
I am committed to Sri Ram, I understand Mother! You are really good".

"No son! I can not wait" then Hanuman said, "why should you not eat?"
Sursa opened her huge mouth; Hanuman entered and came out to meet.
Sursa was much pleased with the intelligence of Hanuman "You smart!
You are capable to deal with Raven you know enough about martial art".

Mountain Mainak came up in ocean and requested Hanuman to have rest,
"Thank you Mainak, I must complete the work, then it will be the best" 
Simhika was a demon in sea tried to catch Hanuman by holding shadow,
Hanuman took care of her by a simple kick and reached at hilly meadow.

From hilltop he saw Lanka with gold parapet, various bazaar, shop, mall,
Houses, palaces, roads, horses, elephants, army, gardens huge and small 
Beautiful women, mighty rakshsas, cows, sport fields, nice dancing halls,
Several security forces health clubs gymnasiums, and players with balls.

Hanuman saw several sentinels and decided to break in the city in night,
He became size of a cat and entered in Lanka defeating Raven's might.
Lankini was the security chief she spotted the intruder Hanuman monkey,
She came to Hanuman, challenged, had defeat; hand over the Lanka key.

"Brahma said, "An intruder monkey would indicate fall of the Lanka",
Please do your business Hanuman; my tenure is over, I leave Lanka".
Hanuman started his search house after house; went in Raven's palace,
He did not see Sita anywhere; he was confused and active in his race.

Hanuman saw a beautiful house where situated a nice temple for prayers,
He thought, "How can be a temple here, Lanka is a city of nay Sayers".
He entered in the house, it was dawn; the resident Vibhishan came out,
"Who are you Sir, how can I help you, how could you find this route?"

Vibhishan was a devotee of Lord and younger brother of wicked Raven,
Hanuman introduced himself, Vibhishan said, "You came from heaven".
"Ram is the Lord, when will I meet him, you complete your mission,
Sita is in Ashok Watika palace, please go there, you have permission".

Hanuman reached to the Ashok Watika and hides himself on a treetop,
He saw Sita sitting on ground under the tree, chanting 'Ram' nonstop.
Her eyes placed on the feet, mind on memories of Ram; he became sad,
Raven came to Sita surrounded by women, full of pride and some mad.

"Sita! Look once to me with love and I will surrender including queens,
Have an exciting life with me, do not cry, poor Ram is counting beans".
"O Raven! I am for Ram, either his loving hands or your sword for me,
Lotus flower needs sun, not glowworm, you are a coward; this I do see".

Raven turned furious, pulled his sword, queen Mandodari hold him off, 
"Sita! You have insulted me, you be mine or I shall serve your head off".
"I grant you two month's time for it else your death will be by my sword,
The sentinels will be harsh on you until you surrender and have accord".

Trijata was a pious lady; she said to sentinels, "I saw a dream depressing,
Raven is killed by Ram, Vibhishan is the ruler; in fact I am convincing".
The sentinels were scared, they offered respect to Sita and asked pardon,
Sita told Trijata, "It is unbearable now, you set up a fire for me, Warden!"

"I will enter in the fire, it is hard to take Raven's dealings, I wish to die",
" Sita! Ram is coming soon to liberate you, not you but Raven is to die".
Trijata went home, it was night Sita was asking for fire from the stars,
"Moon you are fiery, send molten lava, I can be away from killing czars".

Hanuman saw Sita in stress, sadness, it was so difficult to see this all,
He dropped Ram's ring in front of Sita, it was shinning though small.
Sita saw the lovely ring, recognized the ring of Ram, How it is here?
It cannot be copied, who brought the ring, I do not see anyone here.
