2 - The Kumaras and Vaikuntha
Sankadi's Shap to Jaya and Vijaya

Lord Shiva replied Parvati, and started narration of 'Ramayan',
Let us follow the mother Parvati to rejoice it as the wise man.
Four Kumaras went to TheVaikuntha, the Lord Visnu's abode,
They were enlightened, young, but unaware of Vaikuntha code.

Two caretakers of Vaikuntha Jay and Vijay checked The Kumaras,
" The Lord is resting, you can not proceed any further, Kumaras!"
The Kumaras did not like this restriction, to meet the Lord Visnu,
They cursed to Jay and Vijay to a demonic life; then came, Visnu.

"O Kumara! It is pleasure to receive you, Jay, Vijay were rude,
Please excuse us, four Kumaras, you are exalted, pure and prude.
I will take Avatars to liberate Jay Vijay from their demonic life,
They need be excused in three lives, for you this should suffice."

The Kumaras were speechless, as they received by Lord himself,
"Lord, we hurried in our action, sorry, now you decide yourself"
Jay and Vijay became demons, Hiranyakasipu and Harinyaksh,
Then Raven and Kumbhakarana, as sins by them were awash.

In third life they were Shishupal and Dantavakra two brothers,
Lord Visnu took avatar of Ram along with His three brothers.
Ram came to liberate Kumbhkarana and Raven wicked- king,
The story of The Ramayan is splendid, divine as the Saints sing.
