Taaljangh

There are two Taaljangh mentioned in Hindu scriptures --

(1) One Taaljangh was the king from Haihaya family. He was the grandson of Sahastrabaahu Arjun, and the son of his eldest son Jayadhwaj (some say he was Vats) and the brother of Haihaya who with other kings defeated Ayodhyaa's King Baahu (or Baahuk). Then Baahu had to take shelter to Muni Aurv. Muni Aurv had invented Agni Astra (Aagneyaastra or Fire weapon). Baahu had already died, his son Raajaa Sagar was with him, so he taught that weapon to him and then he fought with Taaljangh, defeated him and took his kingdom back. Later Parashuraam Jee killed them all people from Haihaya family. He had 100 sons.

(2) Another Taaljangh was an Asur who lived in earlier times and was very terrible. He had a son named Sur.
