Kaagbhushundi |
Kaagbhushundi We meet Kaagbhushnudi Jee in Tulasee's Raam Charit Maanas. Almost half of Uttar Kaand is devoted to him. it is a most known information source about him. His biography is interesting and so is interesting is the reference an context in which this biography is given there. It should be noted that Kaagbhushundi Jee is very old. He himself told Garud Jee that he had seen 27 Kalp, and he is indeed immortal. Kaagbhushundi Jee is a crow who is always busy in telling Raam Kathaa to many different kinds of birds. Context of Kaagbhushundi Jee
So Garud Jee went to Shiv Jee. At that time Shiv Jee was going to Kuber to see him. When Garud Jee posed his doubt, Shiv Jee thought, "He will not be able to understand me so I should send him at some place where he can understand the effect of Raam'a Maayaa." so he said - "Your doubt will not go away in a short time like this. this can be removed only by Satsang and listening to Raam's Kathaa repeatedly. Better you go to Neel Parvat where Kaagbhushundi Jee recites Raam Kathaa daily. You go and listen to it. He will be able to remove your doubts." Thus directed by Shiv Jee, Garud Jee came to Kaagbhushundi Jee, heard Raam Kathaa from him and removed his doubts. Autobiography of Kaagbhushundi Jee
