Priyavrat's Lineage
Vishnu Puraan, 2/1
Priyavrat married Kardam Rishi's daughter (name is not given here)
--- Bhaagvat Puraan, 4/1
says that Priyavrat married Barhishmatee, the daughter of Vishwakarmaa, and
that Kardam Rishi's wife Devahooti was Priyavrat's sister, and they had nine
daughters whom they gave to nine Prajaapati. Manu had two sons - Uttaanpaad and
Priyavrat; and three daughters (Aakooti, Devahooti and Prasooti). So according to
Bhaagvat Puraan, there is no question of marrying Priyavrat to Kardam Rishi's
daughter.
They had 10 sons and 2 daughters - Aagneedhra, Agnibaahu, Vapushmaan, Dyutimaan.
Medhaa, Medhaatithi, Bhavya, Savan, Putra and Jyotishmaan; and 2 daughters were
