Materials for the Touch Read Project comes through a very hard labor
done by translating a lots of folktales from various countries in
Hindi language. This Project was started with the aim that these
foreign folktales could reach in the hands of as many visually
handicapped people who could read even a little Hindi. That is why
these stories have been written in daily spoken Hindi language as
far as possible.
Folktales are a part of the culture of a society. Thus these folktales
depict the culture and history of that particular society from which they
are taken

The titles under this Project, for the time being, include only folktale materials
in Hindi language. Presently the following titles will be made available free
of charge to Hindi Braille readers worldwide under this project --
