Aniruddh

Aniruddh was the grandson of Shree Krishn and Rukminee, and the son of Pradyumn and Rukmvatee (Rukmee's daughter). He was married to Rukmee's son's daughter Rochanaa. ( Vishnu Puraan, 4/11 says that Rukmee's granddaughter's name was Subhadraa). He was married to Baanaasur's daughter Ushaa also. He is also said to be the Ansh Avataar of Vaasudev as his father Pradyumn (Avataar of Kaam Dev) was.

Aniruddh's Marriage to Ushaa
Baanaasur's daughter Ushaa saw him in her dream and got attracted to him. She told about her dream to her friend Chitralekhaa. Chitralekhaa asked her to tell his name, but Ushaa could not tell his name. She was very good at sketching, so she then started drawing numerous sketches to find who he was who had attracted her friend - of Devtaa, of Gandharv, of great kings, then she came to Krishn's family. Seeing Krishn's sketch Ushaa felt shy. Chitralekhaa almost understood that he could be the prince, but Ushaa told that he was a little too old for being the prince. Chitralekhaa then drew the sketch of Pradyumn Jee. Seeing it she cried "Yes it is him." But still he was looking a bit old to her. Then at last she drew the sketch of Aniruddh, then she felt shy and said "Yes, it is he."

How to arrange their meeting? Chitralekhaa knew to fly also in the sky, so she brought Aniruddh to Ushaa's palace while he was sleeping, to please her friend. He stayed there for some time. There he forgot the time scale. When Baanaasur came to know about him, he got very angry and got ready to fight with him. Till then Krishn and Pradyumn also had come to know his whereabouts. So they also came to fight with Baanaasur. Baanaasur's Nagar was guarded by Shankar Jee, so they faced Shankar Jee there.

Both fought for quite some time. In the end Shiv Jee requested Krishn not to kill Baanaasur and make him fearless. Krishn said, "I could not have killed him anyway, because I know he is the son of Raajaa Bali and I have given Var to Bali that I will not kill any Daitya in your Vansh". Then Baanaasur himself brought Ushaa and Aniruddh, married them and sent them with Krishn.
