Sharadwaan
From    Mahaabhaarat

Sharadwaan was in the lineage of Maharshi Gautam > Shataanand > Satyadhriti > Sharadwaan. He was born with arrows and was a great archer. He meditated and attained mastery on all kinds of warfare. Being expert in archery nobody could defeat him. Noticing this Indra got frightened. So he sent a beautiful Apsaraa Janapadee to distract him from his Tapasyaa. Although Sharadwaan had been a celibate for about a century, but seeing that naked Apsaraa his mind got disturbed and Janapadee succeeded in distracted him. Sharadwaan dropped his bow and arrow. His semen fell on reeds which divided the semen in two parts. This caused the birth of two children - a boy and a girl. Apsaraa had not seen the Rishi so both went their own ways. Sharadwaan got very distressed to see this. He left his bow and arrows there only and went to the forest to do Tapasyaa. Janapadee also left for Swarg.

Later these children were found by Raaja Shaantanu while he was on a hunting trip. He named them Kripaa and Kripee, brought them home and gave them to his Raaj Purohit to bring them up. One day Sharadwaan came to Hastinaapur and taught his son archery. Nether Sharadwaan told them that he was their father, nor they tried to know that who was their father. When they had grown, Kripaa became the Kul Purohit of Kaurav family, and Kripee was married to Drone who was the Guru of Kaurav and Paandav. Drone and Kripee had a son named Ashwatthaamaa.

He educated  Satyavatee  and  Paraashar's son  Ved Vyaas Jee  also.
