Satraajit
From  Bhaagvat Puraan  10/u6

Satraajit was a king. He was a great evotee of Soorya Dev. Once he performed a lot of Tap to please Soorya Bhagvaan. Soorya Dev got very pleased with his Tap and appeared before him. he asked Satraajit to ask for a var. Satraajit saw a Mani (jewel) in Soorya Dev's neck. He liked it very much so he asked him to give it to him. Soorya Dev gave it to him and said - "This Mani is very special. It will give you 8 Bhaar gold everyday but you should use it in public welfare and keep it in a clean place and handle it with clean hands." Satraajit took that Mani from him Ad Soorya Dev got disappeared.

After getting Mani, Satraajit went to Dwaarakaa wearing it in his neck. The Mani was so shiny that Dwaarakaa people thought as if aother Soorya was coming to Dwaarakaa. They reported this to the King Ugrasen. Krishn was sitting there, He told them that he was not Soorya Dev but Satraajit was coming there. Later Krishn said to him that since that Mani was special, it was good for Ugrasen, so if he does not feel bad, he should give that Mani to King Ugrasen. He will make good use of it. But Satraajit did not give it to him.

Mani is Lost, Krishn is Blamed
Satraajit had a brother named Prasenjit. Once he asked his brother to give that Mani to him. He wore that Mani in his neck and went for hunting. There he could not keep the cleanliness for that Mani. He met there a lion and the lion are Prasenjit and took the shiny Mani. When Prasenjit did not come for some time, Satraajit got worried about him. He thought that since he refused to give the Mani to Krishn, Krishn might have killed his brother to take that Mani from him. He said this in public and the rumor reached to Krishn. krishn did not like this and He cosidered proper to remove this blame from His head. He consulted Balaraam Jee and set off to find the Mani.

Both followed Prasenjit's footprints and came to the forest where the lion ate Prasenjit. There they found lio's footprints and the dead horse's bones. They understood that here Prasenjit was attacked by a lion. The lion must have eaten Prasenjit and his horse and taken the Mani. So they proceeded further and found a lion also lying dead.  There were the footprints of a large animal nearby. So it means that the lion was also killed by some other animal. Krishn sent Balaraam Jee back to Dwaarakaa, and He Himself followed that animal's footprints. Following those footprints, Krishn came to a cave. He heard a sweet song sung for a baby. He entered the cave.

Krishn Meets Jaambvaan
From  Bhaagvat Puraan  10/u6

On entering the cave, Krishn found that a girl had that Mani in her hand and she was playing with that Baby while singing a song. Seeing a stranger that girl got frightened and shouted - "Who are you?" Hearing the sound of the girl, a large bear came out from inside and found a stranger in his house. He asked Krishn His introduction and Krishn told him the purpose of His coming there. The bear, who was none other than Jaambvaan, got angry and started fighting with Krishn. This fight continued for 28 days. On the 29th day when Jaambvaan could not defeat Krishn, he thought "Who He could be whom he could not defeat in the fight? It seems that Raam has come in this form as He told me, that is why I have not been able to defeat Him." So he fell on Krishn's feet and asked Him whether He was not Raam? Krishn said "Yes. I am Raam." He gave that Mani to Krishn and married his daughter Jaambvatee to Him too.

Krishn Gives Mani Back to Satraajit
From  Bhaagvat Puraan  10/u6

Krish came back to Dwaarakaa with the Mani and gave it back to Satraajit i the presence of Balaraam and in Ugrasen court, so that He is free from the blame. Satraajit got very happy to receive the Mani but got embarrassed as well to blame Krishn for stealing it. To save himself from this embarrassment, he married his daughter Satyabhaamaa to Krishn and gave that Mani to Him, but Krishn refused to take Mani from him saying that - "This Mani is yours, you keep it. We are the right people to have the gold, so give us the gold." After that Krishn went to see Paandav as He came to know that Paandav were burnt in Laakshaa Grih fire (although they were safe).

In the absence of Krishn Akroor and Kritavarmaa got the opportunity. They consulted Shatadhanvaa and suggested him that he should take the Mani from Satraajit. Satraajit promised to marry his daughter Satyabhaamaa to us but he has married her to Krishn." Shatadhanvaa got deluded and he killed Satraajit in sleep and took the Mani. When Satyabhaamaa heard this she herself went to Krishn. Krishn immediately returned to Dwaarakaa. As Shatadhanvaa came to know about Krishn's return, he got afraid and asked help from Akroor and Kritavarmaa but both washed their hands. So Shatadhanvaa kept that with Akroor and ran away in his chariot by fast driven horses. Krishn and Balaraam followed him and reached up to Mithilaa Puree. There Krishn killed his horses, so he ran on foot. Later He killed Shatadhanvaa also with His Chakra, but He could not find the Mani on him. Krishn returned and told this to Satyabhaamaa.

Then who had the Mani? When Akroor and Kritavarmaa heard that Krishn had killed Shatadhanvaa, they also got afraid of Him and they also ran  away from Dwaarakaa. As Akroor had left Dwaarakaa, Dwaarakaa people experienced troubles there, but this does not seem so as no trouble can be felt as long as Krishn is there. Still people felt that Akroor Jee had some good powers whose effect now was gone and it could be seen wherever he was living. Krishn then called Akroor Jee and talked to him in a sweet toe that He knew that Shatadhanvaa had kept that Mani with him, and Satraajit did not have a son, therefore his grandsons (Satyabhaamaa's sons) will do his Pind Daan, thus this Mani will be clear his debt and the rest of the money they will keep. So according to Shaastra we should get that Mani. Although you may keep that Mani because you are very pious, but Balaraam Jee does not trust me, so please show it in Ugrasen court that you have that Mani.

Akroor Jee understood that he could not hise that ,ani for a long time, so he went to Ugrasen's court and showed that Mani to all including Balaraam Jee. After showing it to all, Krishn returned that Mani to Akroor Jee.
