Pradyumn
From   Bhaagvat Puraan, 10/u5
Read also   Shambaraasur

Pradyumn Jee was the son of Krishn and Rukminee. It is said that he was so much like Krishn that even Krishn's wives used to take him as Krishn. He is said to be the incarnation of Kaam Dev.

There is an interesting story about him. When he was seven days old, a Daitya named Shambaraasur took him from Rukminee's delivery room and threw him in the Lavan Sea so as to kill him. In fact Shambaraasur knew that Krishn's son is born to kill him, that is why he stole him to kill him, but he did not die there. A fish swallowed him. Later a fisherman caught that fish and seeing a good fish, he brought it to Shambaraasur. Shambaraasur gave it to his maidservant Maayaavatee, and Maayaavatee gave it to his cook to prepare it.

When the cook cut it, he found a boy in it, so he gave him to Maayaavate and Maayaavatee brought him up with love and care. She knew from Naarad Jee that he was her husband (Maayaavatee was Rati), so although she brought him up like a mother, but still she looked at him as her husband. Seeing this strange behavior, once Pradyumn Jee asked Maayaavatee - "You are my mother, why do you behave like this with me?"

Then Maayaavatee described him the whole matter. She told him that he could not kill Shambaraasur just like that, he had to learn special Maayaa to kill him. So she taught him many kinds of Maayaa. Then Pradyumn Jee killed him with his learnt Maayaa and came back to Dwarakaa along with Maayaavatee. Everybody was very happy to see them.
