Chaanakya-6/8

When Chaanakya heard that the Prime Minster Vararuchi was resigning, he instigated him not to resign, because by resigning he was trying to run away from his duties. Amaatya Raakshas also supported Chaanakya. Prime Minister Vararuchi took his resignation back and went back on his position. Susiddhaartak was spying on Vishnugupt (Chaanakya) with his assistant Siddhaartak. Amaatya Raakshas went to Buddha's disciple Jeevsiddhi Bhadant to request him to instigate Dhanaanand to go for Vaanprasth.

Chandragupt sent a letter that he was all right and he was proceeding towards Paataliputra. With the help of Bhadant, Amaatya had become successful to send Dhanaanand on Vaanprasth. Dhanaanand crowned his son the King. He had two sons, Sukesh and Sutanu, so he crowned his elder son Sukesh. As Sutanu was younger, he was very dissatisfied. Dhanaanand was the son of Mahaapadm Nand. Army Chief Bhadrashaal was also not satisfied with this.

The horse seller was being punished, because he told that he sent his brother Akshaya to buy horses but Akshaya was seen in Paataliputra.

Chaanakya-7/8

Akshaya came to Chandragupt. Chandragupt was preparing to attack Magadh, but the kings whom he brought with him were quarreling over "Who will become the King of Magadh?" Paurav Raaj, Malaya Raaj, Kaikaya Raaj, all were quarreling among themselves. Chandragupt asked Paurav Raaj that what did he want? Does he want to divide Magadh?

By the order of Chaanakya they came to win Magadh with Chandragupt. Akshaya took Chaanakya's message and came to Chandragupt. Paurav Raaj came to see Chandragupt. Paurav Raaj was representing his brother - the King of Kaikaya Paurav. Chandragupt accepted the proposal of the brother of Paurav Raaj, that both, Paurav Raaj and Chandragupt had equal rights on Magadh. Paurav informed about their rights to his companions. Mahaa Mantree wanted to stop this war but it seemed inevitable.

Coronation of younger Prince Sukesh was about to take place and all in the palace were talking about it, but the people in whole Magadh were talking  about the invasion on Magadh Empire (this seems odd). The younger brother Sutanu was spying to get the throne. At last Sutanu killed Sukesh and informed the King Dhanaanand that the Prince Sukesh has been killed. Sinharan (former Army Chief) and Balgupt knew the secret of the murder of Sukesh, so they immediately disappeared. Sutanu went to look out for them. Balgupt had become rebellion. Bhadrashaal said - "Balgupt is innocent." In the meantime Sutanu was also killed, thus Dhanaanand lost both his sons.

In fact Bhadrashaal did all this by the order of Chaanakya, but he had to die because of this. Bhadrashaal committed suicide. Sinharan also died, because he killed Sutanu.

Dhanaanand called Shaktaar and consulted him as what he should do now. Shaktaar advised him to go to Chaanakya, and surrender to Chandragupt. Dhanaanand got ready to do that. he told him that "Inform Chandragupt that I surrender Paataliputra to him without fighting. Dhanaanand requested Shaktaar that he wanted to see Chaanakya, so Shaktaar brought Chaanakya there. Dhanaanand tried to kill him with his dagger, but Chaanakya snatched his dagger from him. Chaanakya said - "I told you before that I do not want to kill anybody, so go, the charioteer is waiting for you."

Mahaa Amaatya Chaanakya coronated Chandragupt the King of Magadh and Balgupt his Army Chief.
Amaatya Raakshas came to Shaktaar. Amaatya's counselors advised him that this Braahman could do anything so you stay in hiding.

Mahaa Amaatya met the Queen (Dhanaanand's wife) and advised her to got out of the palace, so that she could reinstate the King later.

Chaanakya made some more new appointments and refused to give any kind of kingdom to Paurav Raaj. Chaanakya sent the instruction to Chandragupt to enter Paataliputra. The brother of Paurav Raaj's son's name was Malayaketu.

Akshaya came in place of Chandragupt and that also hiding his face. All were thinking that he was Chandragupt, but Chandragupt was coming separately in disguise. He was allowed to come in Paataliputra. He was coming after 15 years.
Chaanakya asked Bhaguraayan many questions.

Chaanakya wanted Chandragupt to marry Dhanaanand's daughter Dhaarinee, but both Chandraguopt and Dhaarinee did not want to marry each other, but Chaanakya was adamant in his ideas.

Chaanakya-8/8

Chaanakya hid Chandragupt's mother and Maamaa. Paurav Raaj went away (as Chaanakya had refused to give kingdom to him).
Chandragupt wanted to go away from the palace, that Shaarang Raav eplained him that Aachaary is all right?

Somebody set fire in Chandragupt's room. Chaanakya instructed Shaarang Raav that nobody should escape live. Chaanakya told that he wanted the killers of Chandragupt in the prison.

Paurav Raaj and other kings (Malayaketu etc) were scared, but still Paurav Raaj asked other kings to keep an eye on Chandragupt.
The Queen said to Chaanakya that he had killed Dhanaanand (she did not know that the King Dhanaanan was sent to Vaanprasth). Chaanakya told her that he will marry Chandragupt to Dhaarinee on the 11th day from that day.

Chaanakya kept Chandragupt's mother Muraa as the maid of Dhanaand's daughter Dhaarinee. She used to help her. Since Dhaarinee did not want to marry Chandragupt, and Chaanakya was going to marry her to Chandragupt on the 11th day, she wanted to commit suicide with the help of Muraa. Muraa did  ot know that the boy was her own son Chandragupt to whom Chaanakya wanted to marry Dhaarinee; and Dhaarinee did not want to marry him. As she was with Dhaarinee, she told her that she will not let her marry to that boy whom she did not want to marry. She would kill him, but she would not let Dhaarinee's marriage perform with that boy.

Chandragupt came to Chaanakya to tell him about the fire in his room, but he was not affected. Chaanakya called Shonottaraa and told her that she should get Dhaarinee ready to marry Chandragupt, but Shonottaraa told him that this was the denial of woman's right. Chaanakya understood that she would not do this work, so he sent a message in the Royal Palace that "I was wrong, and now all are free to do anything they want."

Chandragupt met Chaanakya and told him to go away from there as he was too much controlling his life. Chaanakya aid - "Once you sit on the throne, and take care of the kingdom, then I will go away."

Paurav Raaj went to Amaaatya Raakshas to get help to kill Chandragupt. Amaatya got ready to help him. Paurav Raaj said - "Chandragupt has to be married to Dhaarinee; and a courtier (Vaaranganaa) will have to appointed to kill Kumaar and I myself will take that courtier to him." Thus Amaatya joined Paurav Raaj.

After this Paurav Raaj went to Chandragupt and asked him that why he was troubling others by not marrying to Dhaarinee? What right he had to do that?"
Chandraggupt said - "When Dhaarinee is not ready to marry me, I do not want to marry her." Paurav Raaj got very happy Hearing this and that he would tell this to the Queen.

Amaatya came to the Dancer Shwetaa (the courtier) and told her to do his work. On asking what was the work, he told her that maybe she had o kill somebody. Shwetaa did not agree for it. Amaatya told her that he wanted all that to take revenge of the killings of Magadh's people. Shwetaa did get ready to do this but she asked some time to think over it.

Dhaarinee came to see Chaanakya. Chaanakya told her that he wanted to marry her to Chandragupt, because only she could save the Kumaar; and she cannot get any better groom for her. He further aid - "I had the right to punish Nand but I have no right to punish you. If you still think that I did wrong then you can still refuse it. ill Sapt Padee (7 steps of marriage) you have right to use your rights."

Shwetaa went to serve Chandragupt to kill him (as Amaatya and paurav Raaj planned). Dhaarinee also got ready to marry Chandragupt.
Chaanakya called Paurav Raaj and said - "Now the time has come to say you the last greetings." Paurav Raaj ran away hearing this. He went to Chandragupt to ask for his help. Chaanakya called Shwetaa and said to her - "Inform Amaatya about the killing of Laghu Paurav and send him to me. I want to see him as a prisoner."

Chaanakya said to Shaarang Raav that spread the news that because of the killing of Laghu Paurav, Dhaarinee's marriage has been postponed for some time. The news of the killing of Malayaketu's father was sent to Malayaketu too.

When Amaatya came to know this, he could not believe his ears. Bhguraayan advised him to run away from there. Chaanakya said - "Bhaguraayan will also have to leave Paataliputra." Amaatya was burning with the feeling of revenge, that is why he was playing all these tricks.

Balagupt came and told his brother Bhaguraayan that whom he considered the enemies of Magadh, they all protected each of Magadh's people who were Magadh's friend.

Chaanakya wanted to reinstall Amaatya on his position.
Shaarang Raav said - "Bhaguraayan, Amaatya and Malayaketu etc are going out of Magadh."
Chaankya said - "Arrest Balagupt. And announce first thing in the morning that Amaatya wanted to kill Chandragupt, but by mistake he killed Paurav Raaj, and for the same reason they have left Magadh."

All kings said - "We will not go back without killing Chandragupt."
Chandragupt wanted to do Shraaddh of Paurav and wanted to donate Paurav's ornaments he was wearing. Chaanakya agreed for it on the condition that he would give those ornaments to those Braahman only whom he would send to him.

Chandragupt was very angry with Chaanakya, because he had taken his rights. Amaatya thought this news favorable to him.
