Mareech Takes Ram Away, Raven Abducts Sita

Raven went home and he was trying to forget about Ram's deeds,
Surpankha came to Raven, "O dear! You should know my needs".
"Your sister has been mutilated and you want to ignore it Raven,
What will happen to your prestige; even you have terrified heaven?"

"Ram's wife is a divine, extremely beautiful lady, she should be yours,
If you do not act; so, who will protect us, you are the refuse of ours".
Raven was compelled; he wanted to have Sita for him at any moment,
He went back to Mareech and said, " Mareech! I do need your consent".

Mareech figured it out, that now his death is in any case, an imminent,
If he will not obey Raven, he will be killed, else Ram's arrow is potent.
Mareech decided to be killed by the arrow of Ram in service of Raven
He did know that eventually Raven would die, pleasing gods in heaven.

Raven and Mareech came to the place near Sita, Ram, Laxman's home
Mareech became a golden deer; extremely beautiful he was, as roam.
He came near to Sita in the backyard and jumped to draw her attention,
Sita saw a golden deer, very lovely, talked to Ram softly in adoration.

"Dear Ram! Please have for me this deer or its beautiful golden skin,
You have been nice to me, please go and soon with the deer come in".
Ram called Laxman and said, "you please be with Sita, I am going out,
The deer is very exciting; how it can be such, I have my some doubt".

"O Brother! This not a deer, this is a rakshas Mareech's black magic",
"If it is so, than we have to deal with it, else the earth is full of tragic".
Ram came out with his bow and quiver, he is following the magic deer,
He is the creator, sustainer, and destroyer, playing fun game, the Seer!

Mareech running in woods, looking backward to Ram, and goes far,
He is captivated on Ram's beauty, praying, "Lord, I can not be at par". 
"Please grant me heaven, you are to destroy on the earth the miscreant,
You are the supreme, righteous, before you even a mightiest is an ant".

Ram had aim and released the arrow; it hit Mareech, the golden deer,
Mareech cried at death, "Laxman! Save me brother, please come near".
After hearing the call, Sita asked Laxman to go and save dear Ram,
Said Laxman, "Ram is invincible, he holds the cosmos with his charm".

"Laxman! It is no time to discuss, do not be selfish, save your brother,
Do not look at me, go immediately, no evil thought, I am your mother".
Laxman had no choice, but to go, "O Sita, be careful, I am going soon,
I knew it was a trap by rakshsas, be practical, you were asking a moon".

Laxman went to find Ram in the woods on various trails; Ram was far,
Raven came to Sita on the door in a disguise of an ascetic, to be at par.
"O young lady! Please come out, I need some food, water and a bit rest,
Why do you live in the jungle, who are you, your beauty is very best".

Sita came out, asked Raven to come inside and have some, food, water,
"Please sit down, I am prince Ram's wife and king janak's daughter".
Raven sat there and talked melodiously, "O Sita! You should not suffer,
I am Raven, try to please me, you will be my top queen, this I do offer".

Sita was shocked listen to Raven and see him in disguise of an ascetic,
"Raven! Do not talk this, you are a cheater, I thought you an authentic".
"Please wait for Ram, he teach you a lesson, you will burn in his fire,
You are a coward, have no will to face Ram, go away better you retire".

Raven was afraid; he had little time to fulfill his plan of kidnapping,
He forcefully pulled Sita, made her to the vehicle as if some dropping.
Sita was crying, she was angry, she tried to run away and she was hurt,
Jatayu heard Sita, it came rushing and tried to take out Raven's shirt.

Hurriedly Raven took sky path, Jatayu followed Raven and had fight,
Raven's crown was lost, but Jatayu was no match to Raven's might. 
It was bleeding in Raven's body; outfit was torn, and lost his bow,
Raven holds on to Jatayu, cuts its wings by sword and dropped to go.

Raven was flying fast in the sky; Sita saw some monkeys on hilltop,
She was sobbing with the tears, took out jewelry, scarf and did drop.
In hours Raven was in his kingdom, Lanka; took Sita to his palace,
Sita was captive, helpless; Raven did arrange tight security in case.

Three days Raven took Sita around his palace and asked for her hand,
Sita was sad, she rejected Raven's appeal and care for his command.
Sita was transferred to the garden palace Ashok Watika in seclusion,
She was remembering Ram, hoping to find Ram her with a solution.
