Sarg 115-Raam Does Not Accept Seetaa

Raam said - "Hey Kalyaanee, I have got you freed after killing the enemy. I have taken the revenge. I have done my duty whatever I should have done as a human being. I have killed all the enemies also. Whatever wrong was done to you by taking you by the demon has been killed by me. What is the use of one's power if he does not use it to kill those people who trouble his public. Hanumaan's efforts to cross the sea and burning Lankaa has become successful today. Sugreev and Vibheeshan's efforts have also become fruitful today." Hearing all this Seetaa's eyes filled with tears. Raam's heart was filled with the fear of public scandal.

Raam further said - "I have won the war for my honor only which I should have done as a man. I did this to free myself from insult and to remove the black spot on my Vansh. I have won you and my mind is like an ascetic's mind, like Agastya's. This war was not fought only for you but to clear any blame on me. Your character can be questioned, but when you are standing in front of me, I do not like you. As an eye patient does not like the light, I do not like you too. Therefore, O Seetaa, wherever you want to go, you can go. I permit you for it. Wherever you feel comfortable, youmay live there. Who will be a noble man who will accept a woman lived in somebody else's house? You may go wherever you want to go. I have no attachment with you. This I have said to you, you may set your mind upon Lakshman or Bharat or anyone else as you wish - or on Shatrughn, Sugreev, or Vibheeshan according to your own wish." Hearing all this from Raam, Seetaa continued to tremble and cry for long time.

Sarg 116-Seetaa Enters Agni

Hearing such harsh words from Her husband, Seetaa broke into tears. She said to Raam - "Hey Swaamee, Why do you speak such harsh words to me like a common man speaks to a common woman. Trust me, I vow of my good behavior that I am not that kind of woman. Touch of my body to Raavan's body was not in my control. I did not do it of my own. My heart and mind were under my control. They always think about you. When you sent Hanumaan to Lankaa, why you did not abandon me at the same time too? This whole effort should not have been there and your friends should not have been fallen into difficulties. I would have died at the same time hearing this message from Hanumaan that you had abandoned me. You are like a woman who give way to emotion of anger. My birth was actually from Prithvi, which was a kind of Divine, that also was not honored by you."

Then Seetaa said to Lakshman - "I do not want to live with a black spot on my head, therefore you prepare a pyre for me. My Swaamee is not happy with me. He has left me in public then this is the only way for me. I will enter Agni." Lakshman, at Raam's order, prepared the pyre. Nobody could console anybody at that time. In the same condition, Seetaa revolved around Raam, did Pranaam to Devtaa and Braahman and said - "If my heart has not thought about Ragunaath at any time then Agni Dev is witness to me. If I am pure then may Agni Dev protect me from all around." And She sat on the pyre. Whoever women and Raakshas were present there and Vaanar too started crying seeing this.

Sarg 117-Brahmaa Tells Raam His Identity

At that time Kuber, Yam with Pitar, Dev Raaj Indra, Varun, Mahaadev, Creator of all Lok Brahmaa Jee came to Raam. Ram was standing joining His palms together in front of them. All Devtaa said - "Hey Raam, You should not consider Seetaa like other ordinary women, because you yourself are the Swaamee of all Lok." Raam said - "I consider my self a human being and the son of Raajaa Dasharath, therefore, what I am, and where I have come from, please tell me the truth."

Then Brahmaa Jee said - "You are 4-armed Vishnu and you are Madhusoodan. You are Mahendra, Padmanaabh, Ved. Cow and Braahman are your Swaroop (form). You are the Swaamee of Tri-Lok because you have measured three Lok, took control of Raajaa Bali and return Indra's kingdom to Indra. You have taken this form to kill Raavan, so you have killed him. Now you may go to Swarg."

Sarg 118-Agni Dev Proves Seetaa's Purity

Hearing Brahmaa's words, Agni Dev came himself carrying Seetaa and said to Raam - "Take your Seetaa. She has not sinned at all - by heart, by action, or by speech. Raavan abducted Her in a wild forest and when She was in Lankaa, She always remembered you. Raavan tried his best but She was firm in Her character. therefore She is sinless and is pure hearted, so you accept Her."

Raam said to Agni Dev - "I tested Her because She had been in Raavan's house. If I did not test Her then people had called me lusty and fool. I know this that She remembered me only and Raavan was unable to attack Seetaa even by heart. Nobody can dare to insult Her because Seetaa is mine. Tri-lok has accepted the purity of Seetaa then how can I leave Her. You are all the caretaker of Tri-Lok, therefore I will have to obey you." All Devtaa got happy to hear all this.
