Sarg 93-Raam Kills Raavan's Army 

Raavan went to his court and sat on his throne. He was very angry and sad on the killing of his son. He called his chief executives and said to them joining his palms together - "You all go to battlefield with all your elephants, horses and chariots. You have to kill only Raam. You shower your arrows in such a way as it rains in rainy season. And I will kill Raam with my sharp arrows."

So they all went to the battlefield with all their armies and weapons, and the fight started. Both armies were fighting fiercely. Flowed blood formed a kind of river. Elephants and chariots were its banks, arrows were the fish in it, flags of chariots were the trees on banks and dead bodies were the boats.

Monkeys got troubled with Raakshas attack. They went to Raam. Raam came and started killing Raakshas entering Raakshas army. Raakshas couldn't identify Raam. His actions were visible only after they had happened, because He used to do them so fast that nobody could see them happening. Raakshas saw only the wounded or dead people not Raam. Raakshas mistook other Raakshas doing all that so they started killing each other taking him as Raam.

This was Raam's Gandharvaastra which confused the army. Suddenly they all saw Raam everywhere and after quite some time they saw only one Raam. Thus Raam killed 10,000 charioteers, 18,000 elephant army, 14,000 horse-riders army, and 200,000 infantry Raakshas army in one Prahar time (3 hours). Somebody's chariot broke, somebody's horse died, or somebody got handicapped.

Sarg 94-Public Abuses Raavan 

Raam killed all the armies sent by Raavan easily. Seeing this the remaining warriors started crying. Many Raakshas women were crying for their husbands, brothers, sons abusing Raavan - "How that old terrible-faced Shoorpankhaa went to Kaam Dev-like handsome Raam in the forest? How and why did she attract to such handsome person as Raam? Shoorpankhaa with large stomach and gray hair insulted Raam that is why she brought all this trouble to Lankaa. Only she destroyed Khar and Dooshan. Because of the same Shoorpankhaa Raavan developed enmity with Raam and brought Seetaa - the cause of his death, to Lankaa. He could not get Seetaa but developed the enmity with Raam without any reason. Raam killed Viraadh who expressed his love to Seetaa. he killed him only with one arrow as soon as He saw him. This example should be enough for Raavan.

He killed 14,000 Raakshas army along with Khar, Dooshan and Trishiraa. The same Raam killed Kabandh whose arms were one Yojan long and who drank blood. He killed Indra's mighty son Baali. He helped Sugreev who lived on Rishyamook Parvat and who was totally disappointed about his wishes, to get his kingdom. 

Vibheeshan advised Raavan with Dharm and Arth, but he didn't like them because of his love to Seetaa. If he had listened to Vibheeshan then this Lankaa would not have been a cremation ground. Raavan did not recognize Raam's powers even after hearing the killings of mighty brother Kumbhkarn by Raam; Atikaaya and his dear son Meghnaad by Lakshman. "My son, my brother, or my husband has died in this war" is heard in every household of Lankaa. It is heard that Raam has destroyed thousands of horses, elephants, chariots and soldiers.

This Raam is either Rudra, or Vishnu, or Indra, or Yam Raaj himself. Raam has killed our brave men that there is no hope for life for us. That is why we are doing Vilaap. This is great grief Raam has given us, but Raavan does not understand it at all. When Raam will get hold of Raavan in war, no Devtaa, Gandharv, Pishaach, or Raakshas can save him at that time.

Pleased Brahmaa Jee gave him Var not to fear from only Devtaa, Daanav and Raakshas, but he didn't ask the Var for human beings, that is why it seems that only human beings are the cause of fear and the end of Raavan. When Raavan used to torture the whole world, then Devtaa went to Brahmaa Jee. Brahmaa Jee told them several stories. Then they went to please Shiv Jee. Shiv Jee said - "A woman will take birth to do your good. As before Devtaa-inspired hunger ate all Raakshas in the same way this woman will eat all Raakshas including Raavan. We don't see anybody in the world who can save Raavan from Raam."

Thus all Raakshas women were doing Vilaap.
