Raam stayed in that forest only after Bharat had left, but soon He noticed some kind of fear among those Tapaswee liing there. Some Rishi loved Raam very much. They wanted to say something to Raam but couldn't say it to Him. So, one day, Raam asked the head of those Rishi politely - "Do you see any change in my behavior so these Rishi seem to be angry with me; or my younger brother has done something wrong? Or Seetaa has misbehaved? Means as a man whatever type of respect you should have got, Seetaa couldn't give it you?" One old Tapaswee said - "Hey Raam, Seetaa is a very good-natured woman and Her mind is always busy in doing Punya. How can She misbehave with us? In fact because of your living here Rishi have started fearing Raakshas that is why they look like so. Hey Raam, There is a Khar named Raakshas here who is a brother of Raavan and has killed many Rishi in this Aashram. He is very treacherous and fearless. He wants to harm you and since you have come here he has increased his activities here. He brings unholy things and touches them with Rishi's body and kill them. He hides in our Aashram in unexpected places where we can not know. He disturbs our Yagya. Since this Aashram has become impure with his activities so Rishi are insisting to quit this place, because that Raakshas now wants to kill them too. There is a beautiful forest there at some distance. It has more fruits and flowers. Ashwa Rishi also lives there, so I want to go there with my friends. If you also come along with us it would be better. And because that Raakshas can misbehave with you also, although you yourself are always very attentive, it is not proper to go there with a woman." Raam tried to console him in many ways but they didn't stop and that old Rishi went from there along with his disciples. Raam did not leave that Aashram even for a moment and many Rishi, trusting Raam, didn't go anywhere else and stayed there only. Sarg 117-Raam Visits to Atri Muni's Aashram Raam also did not consider proper to stay in that Aashram for several reasons. In fact He often remembered coming of His dear brother Bharat and His mothers, secondly, because of coming of Bharat's army (elephants, horses etc) that place became dirty, that is why they also wanted to move to other place. They went to Atri Rishi's Aashram. Raam greeted him with His brother and wife. Atri Muni also respected Him as his son. Atri said to his old wife Anasooyaa to hug Seetaa. Atri Muni introduced Anasooyaa thus - "When it didn't rain for 10 years and the whole world started burning in Sun's heat, at that time she produced fruits and flowers and brought Gangaa Jee here. She has done Tapasyaa for 10,000 years and with the effect of that Tapasyaa Rishi got relieved from troubles. Converter of one night into 10 nights for Devtaa, this Anasooyaa is like your mother. Raam, you send Seetaa to her because she is respectable for everybody." So Raam asked Seetaa to go to Anasooyaa - "Hey Seetey, You go to her for your good." Seetaa went to Anasooyaa. Her body was very weak, it was all wrinkled, her hair was white. Seetaa greeted her telling Her name and asked her welfare. Anasooyaa said to Seetaa - "This is very good that you love Dharm. You have come to forest with your husband without the pride of being a princess. Women who love their husband, love to live with their husband whether it is a forest or palace, whether husband is of bad character or good, poor or rich, for women he is Devtaa, they are Satee. I do not regard my friend anybody else more than my husband because he is the highest and the best result of my Tapasyaa. It is never destroyed. Women who misbehave with their husband, they go to Narak (hell). They cannot know these faults because of their ignorance; and women who are engaged in enjoying physical pleasure, they are always a black spot on their family and fall from their Dharm. Seetey, Who follow Dharm like you they enjoy Swarg. Sarg 118-Seetaa-Anasooyaa Talks Seetaa admired Anasooyaa's discourse and said - "Hey Maa, Whatever you have told me about Stree (woman) Dharm, it is not a big thing for you. I also know that a woman's Guru is her husband. If my husband did not bear bad character, or had been sordid still I would serve Him with love and devotion. But my husband has all the qualities - kindness, polity, Dharm etc. He loves His other mothers as He loves His own mother. If His father had seen any woman once, then he would regarded her as His mother. When I was coming to forest with Him, whatever my mother-in-law told me, I still remember it and whatever my mother said to me at the time of Kanyaa Daan (marriage), I remember that also. Hey Maa, but they are renewed as you told me everything now. There is no other Tap other than serving the husband, because Satee Saavitree is worshipped in Swarg only because of serving her husband. And you will also live in Swarg with your husband because of behaving like Satee Saavitree. Highest among women, Rohinee, never lives separate from her husband Chandramaa, and that is why she is also worshipped in Swarg." Anasooyaa got very happy to hear this from Seetaa and said - "I have done very intense Tapasyaa with good discipline and I have the power of Tapasyaa, therefore Hey Seetey, you ask for a Var, I am very pleased with you. Tell me what can I do for you?" Seetaa smiled and said - "I need only your kindness, I don't need anything else." Hearing this Anasooyaa got more pleased and said - "I will make your pleasure successful and give you return of your politeness. I give you this Divine necklace, clothes and Ubatan (herbal paste used as soap). They will increase your beauty and they will not get dirty even after regular use. You will please your husband by rubbing this Ubatan on your body." Seetaa took those things from Anasooyaa and stood in front of her. Seeing standing like this Anasooyaa expressed her desire to hear the story of Her marriage. She said - "I have heard the story of your Swayamvar, but I wish to hear it in detail from you." To fulfill the desire of Anasooyaa, Seetaa said - Mithilaa's Raajaa Janak is very pious Raajaa. When Raajaa went to till his farm himself, a girl appeared from the ground. Raajaa Janak was scattering seeds from his hand that he found the girl covered with soil [that was me]. Janak did not have any child, so he picked me up and said - "She is my daughter" and loved me very much. At the same time Aakaashvaanee (Divine voice) said - "She is your Dharm Putree (daughter by Dharm)." He got very happy to hear that and gave me to his queen. She also loved me very much. When I grew up then my parents got worried about me because somebody may be insulted by an equal status or a lower status Raajaa. He couldn't decide as who should be my husband. Then he decided to have a Swayamvar for me. He had got a very huge bow whose arrows could not be cut, from Varun Jee. My father called all kings and kept that bow in the Swayamvar and said that whoever will lift it up and pull its string, he would marry his daughter with the same person. Many Raajaa couldn't even move that bow and went after greeting it. After some time, Raam also came to Janak Puree to see this bow with Vishwaamitra Jee. Muni told my father that Raam and Lakshman are Raajaa Dashrath's sons and wish to see your bow. By the order of Muni that bow was brought there only, and was showed to Him. He picked it up and pulled its string. The bow was broke. As it broke it made a great noise. My father got ready to give me to Him, but He didn't accept me without His father's permission. Then my father called my father-in-law and gave me to Raam. My younger sister Urmilaa was given to Lakshman. I love my husband very much." Sarg 119-Raam Moves From Atri's Aashram Anasooyaa said - "Seetaa, you have said it very nicely. I got very happy to hear it, now evening is falling, birds are returning to their nests, so you also go and serve Raam. And please me by wearing these things I have given them to you." Seetaa wore them. She looked like Dev Kanyaa (divine girl). Then Seetaa touched Anasooyaa's feet and went to Raam. Raam also got very happy to see Seetaa clad in Tapaswinee's given attire. Seetaa told everything Raam about those things. In the night they rested there. In the morning they took permission to go to another forest. Tapaswee told Raam that if He went further He would get Raakshas who would eat human beings are snakes also which drink human blood. Who are not careful in this forest, they kill them and eat. [They requested Him] to go there and stop these Raakshas. Raam, Lakshman and Seetaa entered this forest. Iti Ayodhyaa Kaand
