So Naaraayan appeared in Vishnu Roop and fought with Madhu and Kaitabh for a long time. When Vishnu could not kill those Daitya, Brahmaa Jee prayed Naaraayan to produce Shiv - His destructive Roop. So Naaraayan produced Shiv Jee. Seeing Vishnu fioghting with them for long time, Madhu and Kaitabh said to Him - "We are very happy with your bravery. We are invincible and we cannot be killed. Ask any boon you wish to ask." Vishnu said - "Grant me this boon that you both will be killed by my hands only."

Now both Daitya were a little worried. They looked around and found only water all around, so they said - "We are ready to die at your hand, but we would like to be killed on the dry place." Hearing this Vishnu expanded His Roop and kept them on His thigh to kill them. They said - "Who are you? Are you Vishnu? Are you Bhagavaan? Then will we get Moksh?" Vishnu said - "Yes, You will surly get Moksh, my Param Dhaam, but since you have given me some wounds in this fight, that is why you will have to bear the fruit for that sin. You have given me three wounds, that is why you will have to pass three lives as Asur." And He killed them with His Chakra.

Naaraayan said to the three Dev - "When I wish to create the world, first I create you three Dev. You are my Roop only. As a cloth cannot take a shape without thread, as a tree does not appear without seed, in the same without you three Gun this world cannot take place. You are the Roop of my three Gun - Sat, Raj and Tam."

Jaya and Vijaya
After being killed by Vishnu, Madhu and Kaitabh got Moksh and they were going to Vaikunth Lok. When they reached Vaikunth Lok, their Raakshas Roop got changed and they got divine body. Both thought what was that miracle and how did it happen like that?

Vishnu said - "This is by Vishnu's boon. As soon as Vishnu touched you, you got this boon. Nobody can enter Vaikunth Lok in divine Roop unless he has done some Punya. As you have come here, you have become Jaya and Vijaya." "Who are you Prabhu?" "I am Paramaatmaa. I am Jagat Pitaa. Welfare of the world is my Karm and Dharm. Everybody has to bear his Karm's fruits. I had killed you in your last life. During that battle you gave me three wounds, so as a result of that sin you will have to take three births in Asur Yoni. Because development of this Creation has to be completed through you only step by step. You were born along with Brahmaa Jee. Brahmaa Jee will create the world and you both will not let it happen."

Madhu and Kaitabh asked - "But why this opposition?" Naaraayan said - "Development of the Creation should be in all the ten directions. If this opposition will not be there then the Creation will develop only in one direction. You will cooperate him in this direction. Stay here as my gatekeeper as Jaya nad Vijaya."

Creation
Brahmaa Jee started his creation. First he created four Sanakaadi Muni and asked them to create the world, but they refused and went to do Tap. Then he produced Mareechi from his heart, Daksh Jee from his thumb, and Devarshi Naarad Jee from his lap. All Ved came out of his mouth. When this could not create the world according to the desire of Brahmaa Jee, he divided himself into two parts. From his one part came out Manu, and from the other part came out Shataroopaa, and the creation started.

Once Naarad Jee came to Shiv and said - "Prabhu, I have insulted Brahmaa Jee. He ordered me to create the world but I cannot do that and I refused to do that. What should I do?" Shiv Jee said - "Devarshi, You cannot accept Grihasth Dharm because you are the Avataar of Bhakti herself. Your other four brothers also have not accepted Grihasth Dharm, so do not worry about it. You be busy in Bhakti of Vishnu, you will feel good." and Naarad Jee went away.

Pleased with the Bhakti of Sanakaadi Muni, Vishnu granted them the boon to go any where any time. So once wandering around they came to Vaikunth Lok where Vishnu's Paarshad Jaya Vijaya did not let them go in saying that Prabhu was taking rest. Muni talked among themselves - "Vaikunth Lok is Nir-Vikaar, how these Vikaar came here in this Roop? You are spoiling the environment of Vaikunth Dhaam so you are not worthy to be here. You should go and born as Asur for three lives."

Jaya and Vijaya got very sad hearing this. Then Vishnu explained that by this way they will be helping Him in spreading Dharm because they will oppose God by living in Asur Kul. That is why they should accept this curse considering it as a boon." So they had to accept it as a boon.

Hiranyaaksh and Hiranyakashyap
One day, during the Sandhyaa period Diti expressed her desire the company of her husband Kashyap Jee. In spite of several warnings that it was the time for Rudra Gan to wander around, and it was a sin, she could not control herself and had the company of her husband. As a result she gave birth to two Asur sons - Hiranyaaksh and Hiranyakashyap. Soon they grew as a young man and went for Tapasyaa for Brahmaa Jee.

What was the reason that the same Raakshas who wanted to kill Brahmaa Jee before now were doing Tapasyaa to ask boon from him? Before they were under the control of Moh but today they are wandering in darkness. They do  ot know anybody they are just dancing as the  puppets of Naaraayan.

Pleased with their Tapasyaa, Brahmaa Jee appeared before them and asked them to ask for any boon.  Hiranyaaksh asked - "Make me so powerful that nobody in the universe can kill me except Bhagavaan." Hiranyakashyap asked - "Grant me this boon that I should die neither inside the house, nor outside the house; neither from Daanav, nor from any human being, nor from any animal, nor from any Devtaa; neither in the daytime nor in the nighttime; neither up nor down, neither with any Astra nor with any Shastra." Brahmaa Jee granted them their desired boons and disappeared. After getting their desired boons they started creating havoc in the three world.

Brahmaa Jee wanted to create something on Prithvi, but seeing Hiranyaaksh coming towards her she hid in the sea. Varun Dev's people tried to stop Hiranyaaksh to enter the sea without Varun's permission but they were killed  by him. Hiranyaaksh asked Varun to give Prithvi to him, but Varun assured him that Prithvi was not with him, she was with Aadi Purush. Hiranyaaksh sees her with Varaah Avataar of Vishnu. Now Hiranyaaksh wanted to take her in his control so he fought with Varaah Avataar to take her but was killed during the fight. Vishnu took out Prithvi out of he sea.

First Vishnu took Matsya Avataar, then Koorm Avataar to aid Saagar Manthan and now with Varaah Avataar He killed Hiranyaaksh. Hearing this Hiranyakashyap got very angry. His son Prahlaad said  - "My uncle was not killed, but Parameshwar has freed him." Hiranyakashyap got angrier hearing this and said - "I am going to kill him." Prahlaad said - "Where are you going to search Him, He is everywhere." Hiranyakashyap asked - "In this pillar too?" "Yes." and as soon as Hiranyakashyap broke the pillar Narasinh Bhgavaan came out from that pillar. He took Hiranyakashyap to the door, kept his body on his knees and said - "See, It is neither day nor night, it is Sandhyaa time, neither you are inside nor you are outside the house, you are in between; I am neither man nor any animal; I have neither any Astra  nor any Shastra, I will kill you with my nails." And He killed him. Thus even after being killed by Prabhu, both Jaya and Vijaya did not get Mukti because of to be born three times as Asur and they wandered around in Pret Yoni.

Vishravaa, Raavan and Kumbhkarn
When Brahmaa Jee produced his 10 Maanas Putra (Daksh, Mareechi, Kratu, Pulastya, Vashishth, Naarad etc) he asked them to create the Creation. Naarad Jee and four other sons refused to create the creation. One of them was Pulastya Jee too. Once Pulastya Jee came to Brahmaa Jee and asked his permission to do Tap in Brahm Lok so that he could do Tap without any obstacles, but Brahmaa Jee sent him on Prithvi Lok saying that "Tap is not done for self-development but for public welfare, so you go to Prithvi Lok and do Tap there so that you can help people on Prithvi Lok."

So Pulastya Jee went back to Prithvi Lok and started doing Tap there. When he was doing Tap there some girls came there playing and this disturbed his Tap, so he cursed them that "if any girl will come here she will get pregnant." So the girls decided not to go there. One of those girls was the daughter of King Trinbindu - Shuchitaa. She also heard that and she also got careful about it. But Once she was returning home that a cow with large horns started following her, so she unknowingly entered the sameforest where Maharshi Pulastya was doing Tap. She became pregnant. Trinbindu went to ask for Rishi's forgiveness and pleaded that since his curse was the cause of her becoming pregnant, he should take care of this. If you will marry her then only this curse will not be curse for her." So Pulastya Rishi had to marry her.

After marrying Shuchitaa, Pulastya Rishi went to Brahmaa Jee to get his blessings. Brahmaa Jee said - "My blessings are always with you. But as Shuchitaa got pregnant, that forest became free from your curse, but since you cursed in anger, it became a curse on you. This curse will be on your family. Two terrible Raakshas will be born in your family. They will be so terrible that Bhagavaan Himself will have to take birth to kill them." Pulastya Jee had a son name Vishravaa. He was a great ascetic. He obtained Gyaan from his father and got him married to the daughter of Muni  Bharadwaaj. Both had virtuous son named Kuber.

When he had grown up, he went for Tapasyaa and got the boon from Brahmaa Jee to become the Lokpaal like Yam Indra and Varun. He gave him Pushpak Vimaan too. He said to him - "Go and live in the beautiful golden city located on Trikoot Parvat in South Sea. That city was built by Vishwakarmaa and was like Indra's Amaraavatee. It was built for Raakshas but because of the fear of Vishnu Raakshas have abandoned it and now there is nobody there. You go there and live there." Kuber proceeded to Lankaa.

While Kuber was on his way, Raakshas Raaj Sumaalee saw him going to Lankaa and tried to stop him to go there, but Kuber defeated him and went his way. Sumaalee could not tolerate Kuber's living in Lankaa. He thought of a trick that if he marries his daughter Kaikasee to Vishravaa, Vishravaa will have two sons from her and they will be the king of the universe as Brahmaa Jee had indicated that two Raakshas sons will be born in Pulastya Vansh and they will rule the Tri-Lok. Kaikasee got ready to marry Vishravaa. She went to Vishravaa and pleased him and took a promise that he will fulfill her wish. She asked him to marry her. Vishravaa got stunned hearing this. How could he marry a Raakshas girl? But he had already promised, so he had to marry her. He cursed her that since she cheated him her children will belong to Raakshas Kul." When the time came, Kaikasee gave birth to two children - Brahmaa's boons - Raavan and Kumbhkarn.
