5 - Sita Ram's Wedding (2)
Ram Weds Sita

The environment became joyous, Janak decided to give a party,
The citizens, ministers were congratulating the king janak hearty.
In the meantime came a devotee of Lord Shiva, Muni Parshuram,
He was a worrier, bit angry, wanted to talk about Pinak with Ram.

"How could you dared to break the bow of my master Lord Shiva,
Now be ready to fight with me, this is my payback to Lord Shiva".
After listening to Parshuram, Ram was astonished, looked to Guru,
"Sir Parshuram! You are revered; how can I fight with you, Guru?"

"Please forgive me, The bow broke without effort and knowledge,
The pieces are lying here, please order the repair or its salvage".
"By this time you should recognize me, I am your dear follower,
I am prepared to please you, as you wish; why should we suffer?"

Ram's appeal was simple; Parshuram did recognized Sri Ram,
He prayed to both brothers sincerely, and then went Parshuram.
The messengers did reach Ayodhya to King Dashratha's court,
Brother Bharat brought them gladly to the father, as an escort. 

King Dashratha welcomed the messengers, offered them seat,
"King! You are much fortunate, the activities of Ram are neat".
"Sri Ram and Laxman are unparalleled in beauty, duty, valor,
Your pious works brought reward of special sons to you, four".

"Sri Ram has broken the mighty bow of Lord Shiva, the Pinak,
 This marvelous prowess of Ram made other kings to just walk".
"Now princess Sita will wed Ram, You please come with family,
We have three more princess, we can talk with the holy assembly". 

King Dashratha was jubilant, after hearing this auspicious news,
He consulted Guru Vashistha for the program and his fine views.
He ordered to prepare the marriage party and a much early start,
He made minister Sumantra the coordinator, one, who was smart.

The advance group started with food, tents, furniture, engineers,
King then followed with sons, relatives and friends with cheers. 
At Janakpuri the marriage party was received with love, respect,
King Janak came forward receiving Dashratha as lovely royal act.

Arrangements were excellent for stay, food and entertainment,
The date was finalized for the marriage, have relation's cement.
Janak offered his daughter Urmila to Laxman as a nice match,
Brother Kushdhvaj's daughters Srutikirti, Mandvi were a catch.

Dasharatha agreed to have the girls for Bharat and Shatrughan,
 All four marriages will be simultaneously in one day O man!
On an auspicious day the four marriages were conducted all,
King Dashratha was the chief guest; the pleasure was not small.

The marriages were carried out in the presence of holy fire,
The Lord will fulfill religion, wealth, and enjoyment desire.
Four sons with four daughter-in laws were beautiful pairs,
Citizens captivated, rose petals offered by blessing Sayers.

King Dashratha was enjoying hospitality, love and respect,
Four sons married, now opens growing family tree prospect.
Sons and daughter-in laws came to Dashratha with pleasure,
They offered respect; the king saw beautiful family treasure. 

King Janak offered chariots, horses, servants as a huge gift,
The marriage party made plans to return sweet home swift.
The receptions, parties were held on the way back in city,
The marriage of Sita Ram had a real stupendous publicity.

The marriage party enjoyed the stay for more than a month,
Then all came back to Ayodhya, from journey on day tenth.
It was special back home for Dashratha and his lovely team,
Mothers received daughter-in laws with love, without seam.

Beautiful women in colors were on rooftops, streets, towers,
They were singing melodious songs and offering big flowers.
Priests arranged auspicious religious ceremony for the family,
It was a special occasion; every body was jubilant in street-ally.

The four sons were given four palaces to live with full facility,
The attendants, maids, furniture, horses were with no scarcity.
The daughter-in laws were very happy with special love, care,
King Dashratha's family was peaceful, happy in their endeavor.
