Ram Laxman are Hit by Brahmastra

Kubhkaran was mad with Raven but he decided to fight for the state,
He praised Vibhishan, than came to fighting spirit in a sacrificing taste.
Ram cut Kubhkaran's hands, legs, head and than cut him in two pieces,
Kubhkaran's body emitted a glow; merged in Ram, fighting had recess.

Grand sons of Raven came to war field; they all were dead in a while,
Mahoder, Akampan, Atikay, Narantak, Nikumbh, were dead, no smile.
Indrajit came back to war turf with renewed vigor and divine weapons,
He hit Hanuman, Angad, Jambvan, and Sugreev, with his ill reasons.

Indrajit tried Brahma's weapon the Brahmastra on Laxman, and Ram,
The brothers accepted stipulation of the weapon, became faint in harm.
Ram's entire army chiefs were wounded; it was scary, Jambvan talked,
"Hanuman! Please go to Himvan Mountain; four herbs need be chalked.

"Mritasanjivi, Vishalyakarani, Savarnyakarini, Santanakarini these are,
Come immediately to revive Ram, Laxman and the army fighting war".
Hanuman completed the work in one night; all revived and had shower,
Ram's army was much strong; Raven sent Kumbh, Nikubh, new power.

Kumbh, Nikumbh died; now Indrajit was on his final mystic invocation,
Laxman, Hanuman, Vibhishan had Indrajit; killed him in a provocation.
Raven was left alone to fight with Ram; he took his left over army with,
Ram received a chariot from Indra; two warriors were headed with kith.

Ram cut Raven's heads but he had coming new heads again and again,
Wicked rakshas was not dying, Ram asked Vibhishan about this pain.
"Ram! first hit his navel than cut heads, it should be the only procedure,
Raven has nectar in stomach, he will not die else with in this nature".

Ram took thirty one arrows and shoot on Raven with full power, force,
Raven's ten heads, twenty hands and navel were cut he died off course.
The war came to an end, Sky became clean; directions had new flowers,
Celestial gods, risis, monkeys were jubilant, offering flowery showers.

Ram thanked Sugreev, Hanuman, Angad, Neal, Jambvan, Vibhishan,
He praised monkey army, "We could win enemy in your association".
"These wicked men were killing, harassing, eating noble men, women,
Now dear Sita will be free, meet me, as you know my beloved woman".

On the death of Raven, Mandodari and Vibhishan were very sad indeed,
Mandodari said, "Raven! You were powerful but never to advice heed,
Ram is the God, you did not care to respect Him the creator of nature,
Now your body lies on ground, this was not befitting for your stature".

Ram sent Hanuman to see Sita and provide with the news of victory,
"Raven died, brothers are fine, and your separation is momentary".
"Hanuman! The news is of immense pleasure; ask for what you want,
I will meet Ram, Laxman, how to reach there I am bashful bit slant".

Ram asked Vibhishan to dress up Sita in silk, gold, jewels and perfume,
"Bring Sita soon in the camp, organize friends as normalcy do resume".
Vibhishan asked maids, secretaries to dress up Sita with best costumes,
He brought Sita to Ram, in a palanquin with music, flower full of hues.

Sita came to Ram and offered hands to embrace him with ecstatic fun,
Ram stopped her, "Wait Sita! You prove your chastity under the sun"
"You have lived in Lanka for months, Raven was infatuated on you,
I am a ruler, have responsibility to people, I have few words for you".

"O Ram! You never have been so harsh; I am also a daughter divine,
I will prove it to you, I am chaste woman, this is tiring time of mine".
Sita asked Laxman to lit a fire in campground in the presence of all,
She entered in the fire after saying, "If I am chaste, do not hurt at all"

"If I have thought of Ram only in day, night as my only beloved man,
Then the fire be cool, let the world know that I am a chaste woman".
Gods came to Ram, Shiva, Brahma, Indra and said, "She is real good,
O Ram! You are the Lord, you are an example for worldly manhood".

Sita came unscathed from the fire, The Fire god handed Sita to Ram,
Ram was very happy; he welcomed dear Sita with his special charm.
Sita Ram were together, embraced, the world was happy with meet,
Love of Sita Ram is eternal as the Sun and Sunrays, clean and neat.

Vibhishan wanted Ram to visit Lanka and have much needed rest,
Ram said, "Brother Bharat is waiting in Ayodhya, to see him is best".
Indra came, Ram asked to spray nectar for Monkeys to revive them,
With help of Indra monkeys came to life, as nothing happened to them.

Vibhishan became the king of Lanka; Laxman did the coronation,
Ram asked Monkeys to return home, special thanks for association.
Vibhishan completed last rights of Raven with an emotional heart,
Mandodari was respected in the kingdom this was traditionally smart.

Ram, Sita, Laxman, Hanuman, Sugreev, Vibhishan, Angad and some,
Rode in Pushpak plane to Ayodhya, people were waiting Ram to come.
Ram was showing Sita the war land, hills, ocean, Kiskindha and Ganga,
They came to Nishad, Sita was eager to keep promise, worship Ganga.

Ram sent Hanuman to go Ayodhya and meet dear brother Bharat soon,
"Tell Bharat that we are on our way to Ayodhya, reach in the afternoon"
Hanuman left the team at Ganga, Srengverpur and proceeded further,
He was to meet Bharat and tell story of Sita, Ram, and Laxman brother.
