2-Dwiteeyaa-2nd Day Vrat
A-Shoonya Shayan Vrat
This Vrat gives women their husband pleasure and man their women pleasure.
One should start this Vrat on Shraavan Maas Krishn 2nd. Do this regularly
for 1 year and worship Vishnu and Lakshmee Jee. Donate bed and fruits also.
Offer Arghya on that day for Chandramaa with Mantra (
Mantra is given on p 365 of Agni Puraan
).

Dwiteeyaa Vrat
Eat only flowers on the Dwiteeyaa (2nd day) of every month, and worship both
Ashwinee Kumaar. By doing this for 1 year, one gets good fortune and beauty.

Kaanti Vrat
One should start this Vrat on
Kaartik Shukla Dwiteeyaa (2nd). Keep fast in daytime and eat in the evening.
Worship Balaraam and Krishn. After doing this for 1 year, Vratee attains
beauty, long life and health.

Phulera Doyaj
Falls on Phaalgun Shukla Dwiteeyaa
(2nd). This day is related to Holee and is celebrated in Krishn temples of
Mathuraa and Vrandaa Van. Special rituals are performed, Holee colors are
smeared to Krishn idols. It is believed that the whole day is auspicious and
therefore astrologers and Pandit need not be consulted for finding an auspicious
time.
Pushp Dwiteeyaa Vrat
When this Vrat is done with eating
only Havishya Pushp (flowers) it is called Pushp Dwiteeyaa, and when it is done
with eating fruits, it is called Phal Dwiteeyaa or A-Shoonya Shayanaa Vrat (see
above)

Shukla Dwiteeyaa
Start the Vrat from Kaartik Shukla
Dwiteeyaa (2nd). One should worship Yam Raaj on that day; then keep fast on every
Dwiteeyaa of Shukla Paksh. This man never goes to Narak.

Vishnu Vrat
This Vrat fulfills all wishes. Start
it with Paush Shukla Dwiteeyaa (2nd), and continue it for 4 days. First day take
bath with mustard seed mixed water and worship Krishn's feet with "Shree
Krishnaaya Namah" Mantra; second day take bath with black sesame seed mixed
water and worship Krishn's navel with "Achyutaay Namah" Mantra; third
day take bath with Bach named herb mixed water and worship Krishn's eyes with
"Anantaaya Namah" Mantra; and the fourth day take bath with all-herb
(Kapoor Kacharee, Bach, Kooth, Shilaajit, whole Haldee, Daaru Haldee, Kachoor,
Champaa, Mothaa) mixed water and worship Krishn's forehead with "Hrisheekeshaaya
Namah" Mantra offering flower. Offer Arghya to Chandramaa in
Pradosh period.
First day offer Arghya with "Shashine Namah", second day with "Chandraaya
Namah", third day with "Shashaankaaya Namah", and fourth day with
"Indave Namah". One should eat before Chandramaa disappears. Vratee should
do this for 6 months or 1 year.
