3-11-Raamaayan as Ved

Sometime back there was some discussions on the Vaidik status of the Raamaayan. At that time I quoted a verse from the end of the first chapter of the Raamaayan to show that the Raamaayan is considered to be having the status of Ved. In support of this view is quoted the following verse, which also proclaims the Vaidik status of the Raamaayan.

Vedah Prachetaas adasitsaksa dramayanatmana.
This verse means that "The Ved itself was born as Raamaayan to Vaalmeeki, the son of Prachetaa".

Given below is a verse from the concluding chapter (chapter 111) of the Raamaayan, which also upholds the Vaidik status of Raamaayan :

idamaakhyaanam aayushyam saubhagyam paap naashanam,
raamaayanam vedasamam shraaddheshu shraavayedbudhah
