1-2-3-Birthdays of Raam and Krishn |
Raam was born on Chaitra Shukla Navamee? There is a reason for it, in fact everything has a reason. First let us see why Raam was born on 9th. 9 * 1 = 9 [9 = 9] Like this to whichever number we multiply number 9, we get 9 only. This is a symbolism of living in Mayaadaa (limit); that is why He is known as Maryaadaa Purushottam Raam. Nothing could take him away from his Maryaadaa. Whatever happens (here with whichever number we multiply 9, the result will be the same, Number 9, never leaving path of Maryaadaa - here never leaving Number 9. That is why Raam chose His
number 9. The addition of all the single digits of a number (18 - 1 + 8 = 9,
27 or whatever) is called the Digital Root. The specialty of this number 9
is that no matter what number is added to it it will give back the same
number, for example, Hence, to find the Digital Root of any number, the number 9 can just be eliminated and the rest can be taken for addition. This is the very basic technique in Vaidik Mathematics to find the Digital Roots of a number. Digital Roots have been very useful for fast calculations and more importantly to check the tedious and long calculations easily. This has been followed in India since ages and ages ago. Why Krishn Was Born on Ashtamee?
Krishn was born on Bhaadrapad Krishn Ashtamee, why?
Also, Krishn came to Earth to show us the path of life - how a person should
(and should not) live.
