Sarg 83-Lakshman Consoles Raam

Hearing the noise of Raakshas-Vaanar fight, Raam said to Jaambvaan - "It seems that Hanumaan must have done something extraordinary that is why this loud sound of weapons is coming up to here. Riksh Raaj, Please go and help him." Jaambvaan walked toward West Gate where Hanumaan was fighting. He saw Hanumaan coming back towards camp with other Vaanar. Hanumaan brought Riksh Raaj also back to the camp. They came to Raam and Hanumaan said to Raam - "In front of our eyes, Meghnaad killed crying Seetaa. I got very sad seeing Her condition, so I came here to tell you all this."

Hearing all this Raam immediately got unconscious and fell on the ground as a cut tree falls down. All Vaanar also got very angry to hear this. They sprinkled lotus water on Raam's face. Sad Lakshman held Him with his both hands and said to Him - "Even the greatest Dharm follower and an Indriyaan controller cannot save you because it is useless. As conscious and unconscious creatures are visible, Dharm does not become visible in the same way. That is why Dharm is not in my mind. Conscious and unconscious creatures do not follow Dharm still they live happily. It proves that happiness is not in Dharm, because if it had happened like that then why did you have to suffer so much. And if A-Dharm is the cause of sorrows then Raavan would have gone to Narak; and the great soul like you had not suffered so much. Therefore Dharm's result is sorrow and A-Dharm's result is happiness.

If the law "happiness from Dharm and sorrows from A-Dharm" had been true then Dharm followers would not have been sad, because Dharm followers must live happily, but A-Dharm followers are enjoying happiness and Dharm followers are suffering with sorrows. Therefore Dharm and A-Dharm are useless and have no meaning.

Hey Raam, If sinners die only because of their sins, then when the A-Dharm action itself is destroyed, then how it can kill anybody (any action lasts for 3 seconds). And if you say that Vidhi (Brahmaa or Bhagvaan) kills (destroys) a sinner then Vidhi should bear the results of sin not the sinner. The order of Karm is called Vidhi, so when a man does any Karm, there is no independence in doing any Karm, [means when the doer has no say - his own will, in any Karm] then doer should not bear its results.

'Dharm gives relief in sorrow', nobody has seen this because it is hidden, therefore it should be said that 'Dharm does not exist as such, but it is only followed or observed'. How one can be benefited from such Dharm? So Hey Raam, If the Dharm has been the truth, then you could not have suffered so much. Under whatever sorrows you have been going though, it proves that Dharm is not there; and even if it is there it is very weak and has to take the help of might. I think that one should not accept anything weak or who has crossed his limits. If Dharm has to depend on might, then leave Dharm and follow might. As people stick to Dharm, in the same way they should  stick to might [instead of Dharm].

If you are following the Truth Dharm (Satya Dharm - means if you are following the discipline of Truth), i.e. as you have come to forest by obeying father's order, then father told you to give you kingdom also before than that. Then why didn't you obey his previous order? Are you not at fault for that? If you are, then did you truly follow your Dharm? Hey Parantap, If Dharm has been the priority, then A-Dharm has not been there, then Indra would have performed Yagya after killing Vishwaroop Muni. One Dharm in Yagya form was enough. He did not do A-Dharm in Hinsaa (violence) form. The Dharm which has A-Dharm with it, destroys the enemy.

Therefore Hey Raam, People do both Dharm and A-Dharm according to their wish. And an action performed with wish is Dharm, I think in this way. Therefore you cut the root of the Dharm even before you left the kingdom. All Dharm actions are performed because of growing aims. As river comes out of Parvat, all actions of a low-minded person done without any aim are destroyed in the way tiny rivers go dry in summer.

A person who has been brought up in comfort and luxury, he gets ready to earn more money with the desire of happiness by unjust behavior leaving the already earned money aside. This is  called sin.

Whoever has the wealth, he has friends, he has the well-wishers, he has brothers, he is the man and he is the learned, he is brave, he is intelligent, he is mighty and he is qualitative.

I told so many demerits of leaving Arth (wealth). When you left the kingdom what intelligence did you use? I know this that whoever has wealth, his all aims, Dharm, Kaam etc are fulfilled; while no aim is fulfilled of a poor person in spite of doing his best.

Happiness, desires, pride, Dharm, anger, peace, Daan (charity) all qualities remain with rich person. Even for Tapaswee this Lok becomes sorrowful without wealth, the same sorrows destroy wealth you don't have. As in bad days, even auspicious Grah (planets) do not stay along.

When you came to forest obeying father's orders, Raakshas abducted your dear loving wife. I will take the revenge of this sorrow which Meghnaad has given to us. Therefore you get up. I told you all this seeing the killing of faultless innocent Seetaa.
