Riddle 8 - The Egg Problem People
are sitting on a breakfast table. You pick up a boiled egg (not shelled) and
ask your mates to stand it upright. Everybody tries it but cannot do it. You
take the egg back from them and stand it upright. How? Riddle 9 - Quarter Problem Take a quarter
and dollar bill. Can you balance the quarter on the edge of the dollar bill? Riddle 10 - Ten Pennies Problem There are ten pennies arranged like this. are six glasses. Three are half-filled with water and three are empty. First
arrange three half-filled with water and then keep three empty glasses after
them in one line. Now move only one glass so that no water filled glass is
near water filled glass; and no empty glass is with empty glass. Riddle 12 - Problem of Separation By
mistake some salt, some iron powder, some sand and some saw dust are mixed
up. Can you separate them? Riddle 13 - Problem of Transportation A man
has a lion, a goat and a bundle of grass. He is going to market. On the way
there is a river which he has to cross. Obviously he has to take those
things also with him. Now there is boat which can carry only one thing at a
time excluding the boatman. How that man should transport them across the river? Riddle 14 - Problem of Tide A boat
has a ladder that has six rungs, towards outside the boat. Each rung is one
foot apart. The bottom rung is one foot above the water. The tide rises at
12 inches every 15 minutes. High tide peaks in one hour. When the tide is at
its highest, how many rungs will be under water?
