Ajaatshatru was Binbisaar's son.

Akbar, The Great (1506)
Mugal Emperor. He was the son of Humaayoon. His son was Jahaangeer.

Alaauddeen Khilajee

Alexander, The Great
Alexander was a Greek King who invaded India in 323 and 322 BC when Dhanaa Nand was ruling in Magadh, Poras was ruling in Panjaab, and Aambhi was ruling in Gaandhaar.

Ashok The Great
Son of Bindusaar, grandson of Chandragupt Maurya

Aurangzeb - Mugal Dynasty
Son of Shaah Jahaan. He was a very cruel King.

Baabar - Mugal Dynasty
First Mugal Emperor. Established Mugal Dynasty. His son was Humaayoon

Bakhtiyaar Khilajee
He was the Army General of Muhammad Gauree (1175-1206 AD). Gauree sent him to Bihaar and Bangaal to take control of them. He could not take control of them but succeeded to push them away from their kingdoms. He killed many thousand Bauddh (as many as more than 10,000) and destroyed 20,000 Bauddh Vihaar.

Bimbisaar - Haryank Dynasty (543-491 BC = 52 yrs)
He was from Haryank Dynasty - the 2nd ruling Dynasty of Magadh. he succeeded the Brihadrath Dynasty. His father's name Bhatteya. Tibetan texts mention his name as Mahaa Padm. His capital was Raaj Griha, later he shifted his capital to Paataliputra. This Dynasty was succeeded by Shishunaag Dynasty

Bindusaar
Bindusaar was the son of Chandragupt, and the father of Ashok the Great. Thus he was great from both sides - his father was also great and his son was also great.

Buddha (Bauddh Dharm)
He started Bauddh Dharm

Chaanakya
Minister of Chandragupt Maurya. He made Chandragupt the king. There are three people who are king makers - Samarth Raamdaas, Chaanakya and His Neeti (policies) are famous like Vidur.

Chandragupt Maurya (322-301 BC)
He took over the Magadh kingdom from Dhanaa Nand and established his Maurya Dynasty in 322 BC which continued till 185 BC (137 years).

Humaayoon 1530-1540, 1545-1546
Son of Baabar. His son was Akbar the Great.
After Baabar's death, his son Humaayoon could not manage the kingdom, so Baabar's lieutenant Shershaah Sooree and two of Hummaayoon's brothers sent Humaayoon back to Persia from Delhi in 1540. He came back to Delhi in 1545, but in a year time died by a fall from stairs.

Mahaa Nand
Mahaa Nand was a Shoodra. His son was Mahaapadm Nand (see below) from a Kshatriya wife from the Shishunaag Dynasty. Mahaa Nand's other sons opposed the rise of Mahaapadm Nand, so he eliminated his father and sat on the throne and established the Nand Dynasty.

Mahaapadm Nand (450-362 = 88 yrs)
Mahaapadm Nand was the son of Mahaa Nand (see above). He vanquished all the old Kshatriya dynasties to establish his own to become the Chakravartee Samraat of the land.

Mahaaveer (Jain Dharm)
Mahaaveer (real name Vardhmaan) was the son of the King Siddhaarth. he was the last Prophet of Jain Dharm.

Poras
Poras was the king of Gandhaar who fought with Alexander in 322 BC. He lost the war, but his one dialog is very famous. After the defeat Alexander asked him - "How would you like to be treated?" Poras replied fearlessly - "As a King treats another King." It is said that Alexander was very pleased with his reply.

A Mauryan Army General who became the Shung King after 50 years of the death of Ashok

Samarth Raamdaas
He was a saint and was the Guru of Shivaajee. He made Shivaajee the king. There are only three people who are king makers in Indian history  - Samarth Raamdaas, Chaanakya and

Sanghmitraa
Sanghmitraa was the daughter of Bindusaar, and thus was the sister of Ashok the Great. Ashok sent her to spread Bauddh Dharm after he had accepted Bauddh Dharm after Kaling war.

Shaahjahaan - Mugal Dynasty
Shaahjahaan was the son of Jahaangeer. he built Taaj Mahal and Red Fort of Delhi.

Shashaank
A Hindu Braahman King of Bangaal. in early 7th century AD.
