14-Use of Hanumaan Chaaleesaa

As told on the first page of Hanumaan, Hanuman Chaaleesaa is the most sung or most recited prayer among people of India. Children sing it with a great enthusiasm. It has been written in Dohaa Chaupaaee meters. Its one Chaupaaee "Bhoot Pishaach Nikat Nahin Aavai, Mahaaveer Jab Naam Sunaavai" is even popular in Muslims also. In all it is a very powerful devotional work that has been left by Tulasee Daas Jee for this world.  Hanumaan Chaaleesaa has been found to be highly effective in controlling the evil effects of Saturn transit or Saturn's major and minor periods. Those who are under such influences get benefited by chanting the Chaaleesaa for 8 times on Saturdays. It is called Hanumaan Chaaleesaa because it contains Chaalees (means 40) Chaupaaee (verses). THis Chaaleesaa can be sung in different tunes, but whenever it is sung, whether one knows Hindi or not, enjoys it.

Hanumaan Chaaleesaa has been written in the praise of Hanumaan, the Foremost Devotee of Shree Raam. Hanuman is the epitome of selfless service, courage, humble disposition, and Bhakti all rolled into one. Venerating that noble Devotee of Raam is sure to benefit us. It is found that specific verses in the Hanumaan Chaaleesaa are capable of bestowing even specific results and working miraculously by
