Gajendra Mokash Prayer

Most people have heard the story of Gajendra, the elephant, on whose call, Vishu ran to help him barefoot and leaving His food. The prayer is in 28 Shlok. This episode is documented in Bhaagvat Puraan, Skandh 8, Adhyaaya 3. [Shlok 1, 30 and 31]

Here some questions come into mind --

(1) How the prayer of Gajendra (the elephant) was heard and by whom?
(2) If it was at Harihara Kshetra, on Gandak-Gangaa Sangam in Bihaar, what is significance of that place or the names?
(3) What is Man, Buddhi, and Hridaya?
(4) What is Vyavasthit-Buddhi? How it is different from other Buddhi?
(5) How Aadhaan of Man in Hridaya is done? Is there anything special in Samaadhaan?
(6) How the Samaadhaan of Man in Hridaya leads to Moksh - or at what stage it comes?
(7) What is the Param Mantra referred here whose Jap was done by Gajendra?
(8) What is Shiskshit and Anu-Shiskhshit?
(9) What part of Anu-Shikshaā in past life remains in present life?
(10) What is Nirvishesh and Vishesh?
(11) Why Upa-Varnan of Nirvishesh and not full description?
(12) If Ling indicates obscene sexual object, why Brahmaa and other Devtaa were proud of these (Ling bhidaabhimaanaah)?
(13) What is Sansṛpa/ Abhigaman motion of Devtaa?
(14) What is Garud in the form of a Chhand?
