Propitiating Venus -
Donation and Charity -
1. Horse (preferably white colored.)
2. Colorful clothes, silk clothes, clarified butter (Ghee), perfume,
sugar, cooking oil, camphor, scented body / hair oil, sandal etc.
3. Gemstones related to Venus.
Best to give -
To a young woman. On Friday evening.
Fasting -
1. On Fridays.
Feeding -
1. Crows or beggars with sweet rice made in milk, or Barafee or 'Rasgullaa' etc.
2. Brahmins (or poor people) with rice with ghee (clarified butter).
3. Cows with part of one's own meal.
Avoid -
1. Perfumes, perfumed oils, ghee etc.
2. Never be too choosy in your dress up.
