Here there are 16 qualities which Vaalmeeki Jee is looking for in his hero -

(1) Gunvaan - Qualitative, Principled person
(2) Veeryavaan - Mighty, Potential one
(3) Dharmagya - Conscientious
(4) Kritagya - Obligation feeling
(5) Satyavaadee - Who has the habit of speaking truth
(6) Dridhvratee - Determined in his deeds
(7) Charitravaan - With good conduct
(8) Sarvbhooteshu Hit - Who wishes good for everybody
(9) Vidwaan - Learned
(10) Samarth - The ablest one
(11) Priyadarshan - Godly in look, good to look at
(12) Aatmvaan - Courageous
(13) Krodhjit - Who has controlled his anger
(14) Dyutimaan - Brilliant one
(15) Ansooyaa - Who is not jealous with anybody
(16) Bibhyatidev - From whom even Devtaa fear to break the war

These 16 attributes may be regarded as the 16 Kalaa (phases) of the full Moon, and Vaalmeeki Jee is about to picture Raam as a full Moon.
