Vashishth Jee was His Kul Guru and Purohit. He was His Guru also who taught Him spirituality by Yog Vashishth.

(2) Vishwaamitra
When He was not even 16 years old, Vishwaamitra Jee came and took Him and Lakshman to protect his Yagya, where he taught Him many weapons which helped Him in protecting his Yagya. He killed there Taadakaa and Subaahu and threw Maareech 100 Kos far in the sea. Then Vshwaamitra took them to Janak Puree where they were married to Seetaa and Urmilaa respectively. Dasharath was also invited so Janak Jee married his brother's two duaghters to Bharat and Shatrughn too.

(3) Bharadwaaj
After the marriage, when Dasharath wanted to crown Him as the King, Kaikeyee exiled Him for 14 years and He along with Seetaa and Lakshman went to forest. On the way he went to Bharadwaaj's Aashram. Bharadwaaj is the son of Dev Guru Brihaspati. he had him from his brother Utathya's wife Mamtaa. Bharadwaaj's son was Drone who was the Guru of Kaurav and Paandav. He had a son and a daughter from Ghritaachee Apsaraa.

(4) Atri
From Bharadwaaj Muni's Aashram they came to Atri Muni's Aashram. Who does not know Atri Rishi. He is one of the 10 Maanas Putra of Brahmaa Jee.  His wife's name is Anasooyaa who with the power of turned the three Devtaa into newborn boys. They were Dattaatreya, Durvaasaa and Chandramaa.

(5) Suteekshn
From Atri Muni's Aashram they came to Suteekshn Muni's Aashram. He was so much immersed in the meditation of Raam that he could not know that Raam Himself was in his Aashram. Then Raam had to remove His image from his heart. As the image of Raam got disappeared, he opened his eyes and saw Raam. He fell on their feet. Later he went to Swarg  burning himself on a pyre.

(6) Sharabhang
Sharabhang was Suteekshn's Guru. Suteekshn took Raam to his Guru. Sharabhang wanted to give Raam all his weapons and earnings of his whole life, but Raam politely refused to take them. Lakshman asked Him why didn't He accept them? Raam replied - "That was his life's earning, it was not good to take it just like that."

(7) Agastya
In the last they came to Agastya Muni's Aashram where He received a sword, and a bangle (given to Agastya Jee by King Shwet). This Agastya Jee is the same Rishi who had drunk the whole sea in three gulps to do good to Devtaa. He killed Vaataapi Raakshas also.
