Sarg 69-Angad Kills Naraantak

Hearing Raavan's Vilaap, his son Trishiraa said - "You are weeping like an ordinary person for uncle? This doesn't look like you. You have won Devtaa several times and got power from Brahmaa. You use that power to destroy the enemy. If you do not want to go to battlefield, then permit me to go there. I will kill the enemy." Hearing his son's words, Raavan got some strength and consolation. Now Raavan's all sons got ready to go to the battlefield.

His all sons were very mighty like Indra and knower of Dharm Shaastra. Raavan sent his such able sons to battlefield adorned with jewelry. Blessed by their father, those six sons proceeded towards the battlefield like Pralaya (Deluge). He sent his two brothers for their protection. Trishiraa rode on his very beautiful chariot and his brothers rode on horses. They all had many kinds of weapons. They were all under the spell of Kaal.

When they arrived in the battlefield they made a roar. They looked at Vaanar army who was ready to kill Raakshas army carrying huge trees and rocks. So as they saw Vaanar, they ran to kill them. Seeing them coming Vaanar also started hitting them them with trees and rocks and destroyed their chariots, horses, elephants etc. Vaanar hit them so much that Raakshas got hurt. Vaanar were hitting them with their fists, and Raakshas were shooting their arrows at them. Vaanar were also getting hurt. Seeing this Naraantak entered in Vaanar's army with his powers and he cut 700 Vaanar. He wounded the chief Vaanar also. He started burning Vaanar with his power. Whoever jumped over him they also got wounded. Vaanar started running away from the battlefield.

Seeing this Sugreev said to Angad - "Hey Angad, Go and kill Raavan's son who is killing our Vaanar." Angad went there and said to Naraantak - "With whatever spear you are killing these tiny Vaanar, you hit my chest with that." Hearing this Naraantak hit that spear to Angad's chest. It broke as it hit his chest. Now Angad hit his horse with his fist. The horse died instantly. Naraantak also hit Angad with his fist which wounded his head. Then Angad showered trees and rocks from the sky, but Trishiraa destroyed all of them with his arrows. Mahodar hit Angad with Parigh, Naraantak also hit him at the same time, but Angad failed all their Powers. Now Naraantak, Devaantak and Mahodar, all three attacked Angad.
