6-History of Raamaayan

(1) Meaning and concept of history - permanent features, cyclic changes, and explanation of Vedas - i.e. parallels to cosmic, physical, inner worlds.

(2) As a text of history, Raamaayan is the most detailed chart of 89 dates which are normally not found even in service-book of Government servants.

(3) Reference of Nakshatra and Muhoort are still standard in astrology today. Abduction of Seetaa was in a nakṣatrsa when lost person / object is found. Pushya Nakshatra has been stated at several places as Nakshatra in which work started will remove obstacles. Raam left with army in Vijaya Muhoort. Good/bad omens for Hanumaan, Raavan, Mandodaree, Seetaa etc are descried. When Hanumaan met Seetaa in Ashok Vaatikaa, Shani, Mangal - both had entered the Śakaṭ a (cart shape) of Rohinee Nakshatra which followed most violent incident in Raamaayan - burning of Lankaa. Till today, Rohinee Shakaṭa-bhed by Shani is considered the sign of violent incident.

(5) Yug are determined by 5 types of Samvatsar as day is determined by 5 data - Tithi, Vaar, Nakshatra Yog, Karan (= Yug is of 5 Samvatsar) of Vedaang Jyotish can mean variously -

(a) Yug is of 5 years - that counters the meaning that Yug can only mean 4,320,000 years as in Soorya Siddhaant.
(b) Yug is of 19 years as per Ṛk-jyotish (commentary by Prabhakar Holay with Arun's comments on www.scribd.com/Arunupadhyay) of which 5 years are of Samvatsar type and remaining 14 years are of other 4 types - Parivatsar, Idaa-vatsar, Anu-vatsar, Idaa-vatsar.
(c) Yug is determined by 5 types of Samvatsar - combination of 5 Samvatsar in Vedaang Jyotish, Baarhaspatya Samvatsar (60 year cycles), Divya Samvatsar (360 years parts of Yug), Saptarsh Samvatsar (2700 solar = Divya or 3030 Manushya or 12 revolutions of Moon in 327 days), Ayanaabda Samvatsar - Yug (24,000 years with 2 halves of Avasarpinee-Utsarpinee, due to precession cycle of 26,000 years and long period of apogee in 312,000 years).

(6) Meaning of Kaavya and Aadi-Kaavya - Vaakya is the representation of temporary incident (Vaaqayaa in Persian) which has been called Vaak-arth-pratipatti by Kaali Daas in his Kumaar Sambhav start. Kaavya is opposite to Vaakya in sense that it is permanent (Sanaatan Satya). So, Kṛṣṇa has called himself as Ushanaa Kavi among Kavi and his place Kaabaa in Arab still remains as pilgrim place in religious tradition of Asur. Permanence has been achieved in Raamaayan by its parallel to Ved.

(7) Meanings of Lankaa as primary and secondary references for mapping of the Earth.

(8) Main Yagya as farming done by Janak (a name of Vishnu in Sahastra Naam) and Seetaa as its product (Darbhaa and Krishi Sookt of Atharv Ved). Region of most dense agriculture is called Darabhangaa and most forest ratio is called Vidarbh. All food grains - rice, wheat etc are types of Darbhaa (grass) only.

(9) Use of eclipse only does not determine long periods as its cycle is of 18 years 10.5 days only. Vishwaamitra sūkta indicates its half period only of 3339 Tithi which is symmetric to the other half of eclipse cycle.

(10) Calendar software of NASA is to be corrected as per historical dates. But in India, historical dates are changed by arbitrary calculations by this software - assuming own great knowledge and lack of time knowledge or calendar in past. Even 10 corrections for models of slowing down of earth give error of 22 hours in 3000 BC and it will be more than 3 days in 5000 BC. All these corrections do not take into account - temporary changes due to glacial flood / ice periods, corresponding correction to Moon's motion in its inclination, node motion, distance-speed). The attached article - Historicity of Raamaayan will serve as a base for further research.
