One of the earliest prophecies that we can easily recognize in Hindu scriptures, is of Buddha.

Shree Mad-Bhaagvat Puraan (1.3.24)
Spoken 5000 years ago from now, predicted the appearance of Buddha who appeared 2,500 years later, born in 560 BC. It says - "In the beginning of the age of Kali Yug, the Supreme Being will appear in the province of Gayaa as Buddha, the son of Anjanaa." (just to delude the people who are always jealous about theists).

Some may say that he was born in Lumbini, Nepal and his mother was Mahaamaayaa, that is why this information is wrong. But Siddhaarth became Buddha when he had attained spiritual enlightenment during his meditation under the Bodhisattwa tree in Gayaa. This means that this birth was his second birth, and in fact his mother the Queen Mahaamaayaa died after several days of his birth, leaving him to be raised by his grandmother Anjanaa. So this prediction is accurate.
