Grihasth Aashram

Mahaadev Jee said to Paarvatee Jee - "Devee, Now I will tell you about Dharm. Dharm is the means to attain Arth, Kaam and Moksh, therefore who follows Dharm he is regarded as a wise man. Who never runs after any bad Karm, he can do Tap controlling his five Indriyaan. Who has detached himself from the world, even home is like a Tapo Van for him, means Grihasth Aashram has been regarded as Swarg for him. Brahmaa etc Devtaa have told that Grihasth Dharm is the highest Dharm. When a sage is hungry in the forest, he looks forward towards a Grihasth; and when the Grihasth gives food to him, he shares the sage's Punya. Who always follow Grihasth Dharm, they can never be a sinner. Home is like Teerth. Here Devtaa and Pitar are always worshipped. One should always donate something in this Aashram."

Aurdhwa-Daihik Stotra

Mahaadev Jee further said - "Now I will tell you about Gandakee River. Gandakee River is like Gangaa River. All kinds of living beings become cleansed by its Darshan. Here all the 24 idols of Bhagavaan's Avataar are found - Matsya, Kashchap, Varaah, Nrasinh, Vaaman, Raam, Parashuraam, Krishn, Buddh, Kalki, Kapil. I always go there. It is the king of Teerth, that is what Brahmaa Jee himself has said to me. Vishnu prepared this area as the greatest. One should go there in Aashaadh month. I tell you repeatedly, that there is no Teerth like Gandakee, no Vrat like Dwaadashee, and no Devtaa like Vishnu.

Now I tell you a Stotra by hearing which even a Braahman killer also gets freed from sin. Brahmaa Jee told this to Naarad Jee. Brahmaa Jee prayed Raam like this, I tell you the same. Its name is Aurdhwa-Daihik Stotra - Aurdhwa-Daihik Stotra is given on p 725-728 (77th Chapter of Uttar Khand of Padm Puraan)

This is Raghunaath's Stotra. Who reads this three times a day who becomes free even being the greatest sinner. One can get Moksh by reading it. Who keeps it in his house by writing it his lofe span, might and wealth are always on increase. Who donates this Stotra to Braahman after writing it, his ancestors attain Vishnupad. Whatever one attains by reading four Ved, he can attain by doing Jap of this Stotra. By reading this one gets everything.

Rishi Panchamee

Mahaadev Jee further said - "Paarvatee, Once upon a time, I asked Vishnu, which Vrat is the highest among all Vrat? Which extends one's family, brings good fortune, whatever He said to me, I tell you the same. Vishnu said - "Shiv, In earlier times there lived a Braahman named Dev Sharmaa. He used to follow his Varn Dharm. His wife's name was Bhagnaa. He used to do Shraaddh of his father on Bhaadrapad Shukla Panchamee. The previous day he used to invite Braahman, the next day he brought new pots and asked his wife to cook food in them. When the food was cooked he used to call them separately. Once Braahman gathered at his house at his invitation. He fed them with various foods, gave Dakshinaa, and bade them farewell. He took food himself along with friends and relations and came out and sat near his door. He heard his bitch and bull talking together. He heard their conversation and understood them that the bull was his father and the bitch was his mother. He thought what he should do to uplift them.

Thinking thus he couldn't sleep, in the morning he went to Rishi. Vashishth Jee welcomed him and asked the reason of coming there. Braahman said - "I am blessed today that I saw you. Today I did Shraaddh of my parents and took food myself. Then a bitch came to my house and talked to my bull as if he was her husband, she said - "Swaamee, Listen to what has happened today. A snake has spoiled the milk kept in this house by his venom. I saw it with my own eyes. I got worried that when this milk will be used for Shraaddh, they will die, so I started drinking it myself, then the daughter-in-law had seen me drinking that milk and beat me up, that is why I am limping. I am very sad today." At this bull also said - "Now I tell you what happened with me. I was this Braahman's father in previous life. Today he fed Braahman and donated lots of food but he did not give me even grass and water today." That is why I am very sad today. I am knower of Ved, still my parents are suffering with great pains. What should I do for them? That is why I have come to you."

Vashishth Jee said - "Listen to what they had done in their previous life. Your father was a good Braahman in Kundin city. Once when Bhaadrapad Panchamee came, your father was busy in doing his father's Shraaddh, that is why he forgot to fast on Panchamee Tithi. On that day your mother had her monthly periods, still she herself cooked food for Braahman. Such a woman is said to be a Chaandaal on first day, Braahman killer on second day and washerwoman on the third day. She becomes cleansed on fourth day. Because of that sin she has been born as a bitch and your father has been born as a bull because of this Karm." Braahman said - "Muni, Please tell me some Vrat, Daan, Yagya or Teerth so that my parents become free from this sin."

Vashishth Jee said - "Bhaadrapad Shukla Panchamee is Rishi Panchamee. On that day, after taking bath, smear the floor with cow dung, and establish a Kalash on that. Cover it with a pot filled with Tinnee rice. Keep Yagyopaveet, gold, fruit and seven Rishi (Pulastya, Pulah, Kratu, Prachetaa, Vashishth, Maareech and Atri) in that pot. Worship them, offer Naivedya of Tinnee rice and eat the same also. Keep fast taking food once only. Feed Braahman with Ghee and give Dakshinaa to them. This Vrat gives Mukti to Pitar, and nullifies the results of bad Karm of previous life, and the sin of touching menstruating woman." Mahaadev Jee said - "Hearing this Dev Sharmaa did Rishi Panchamee Vrat. Although this Vrat is prescribed for Braahman but whoever else also does it, he also gets benefited from it.

Apaamarjan Stotra

Paarvatee Jee said - "All beings suffer from poison or diseases or unfavorable planets etc. Tell me the way so that people should not suffer from them." Mahaadev Jee said - "Who have pleased Vishnu by fasting or Vrat, they never suffer from diseases. Who have never done and Vrat, or Punya, or Daan, or Tap they always suffer with disease etc. When Madhusoodan is pleased, one gets health, wealth and whatever he wishes for. All Graha (planets) become favorable." Paarvatee Jee said - "Tell me the duties of a person who is a devotee of Vishnu." Mahaadev Jee said - "This remedy is to treat. diseases, mistakes and inauspicious moments. By doing Nyaas in various parts of one's body, one himself becomes Vishnu. Who wants to pacify, he should dig out Kush with roots, and touch all parts of the patient, especially the sick, planet sufferer and poison, with them. When he is touching with Kush, he should pronounce this Stotra. ( The actual Stotra is not given here, but its text in prose is given here on page 732-733 ).

All Vishnu Bhakt should use this Apaamaarjan Stotra to treat people suffering with disease and pains. It destroys all kinds of pains and sorrows. It destroys all kinds of sins. This Stotra is a wonderful Siddhi, means of ultimate protection and the best remedy. In earlier times, Brahmaa Jee told this to Pulastya Jee, Pulastya Jee told this to Daalbhya, and Daalbhya told it to public for their welfare. One should read this to fulfill the desire of son, Kaam and wealth. Its daily reading gives son and wealth. It pacifies all planets and cures diseases."
