4-Story of Lobhaasur
Incarnation of Gajaanan

Once Kuber decided to see his friend Shiv, so he went to Kailaash Parvat. There he saw Shiv and Paarvatee. He was tantalized seeing the beauty of Paarvatee and kept staring at her. Paarvatee felt very embarrassed. Suddenly her anger came on her face and this rattled Kuber. At that time a demon took birth from the scary look of Kuber whose name was Lobhaasur. Lobhaasur came to Daitya Guru Shukraachaarya and requested him to make him his disciple. Guru happily accepted him as his disciple, initiated him into Shiv's Panchaakshar Mantra and sent him to forest to do its Jaap. Lobhaasur did this Jaap without taking any food and water and at last pleased Shiv Jee. As Shiv Jee appeared before him, he fell on his feet and Shiv Jee bestowed him with a boon of the fearless leader of the three worlds.

By the grace of this boon he won Tri-Lok and defeated Indra. Homeless Indra went to Vishnu. Vishnu went to fight with him but nothing happened. Shiv's boon was so powerful that no one could face him, not even Vishnu. Lobhaasur understood that Shiv is the Lord of all Devtaa so he sent a messenger to him with the message - "Either you fight with me or surrender your abode to me." Shiv understood his mistake so he left his abode.

Now everywhere people were suffering, sin was increasing, saints were unable to carry out their daily chores. All had no choice but to suffer. Raibhya Muni suggested that they should go to Ganesh Jee. Gajaanan was pleased with their prayer and sent a message to Lobhaasur through Shiv Jee - "Surrender to our Lord Gajaanan or get ready for consequences." Shukraachaarya advised him to surrender to Lord Gajaanan, so he did. he fell on the feet of Gajaanan asking his forgiveness for his misbehavior. Gajaanan forgave him and ordered him to go to Paataal Lok and never return from there.
