Basically all Poojaa
start with the worship of Ganesh Jee according to the boon bestowed by his
father Shiv Jee (read Leader).
Still there are some specific days when Ganesh Jee is specifically
--Ganesh Jee is mostly worshipped on Krishn 4th of every Lunar month - and it
is called Sankathaaraa Chaturthee..
--Bhaadrapad Krishn 4th is special day to worship him, as it is his birthday.
--Maagh Krishn 4th is also the special day to worship him as it is called Sakat
Chauth. On this day Ganesh Jee is worshhipped and he is offered the Naivedya
of Til and Gud Laddoo (sesame seeds and jaggery balls). It is believed that by
worshipping him on this day he takes care of the family the whole year.
--It is believed that Tulasee leaves should never be offered to Ganesh Jee (read
the story Ganesh and Tulasee).
It is believed that 21 types
of leaves can be offered to Ganesh Jee while worshipping him;
This Poojaa is called Ekvinshati Patra Poojaa and one of the Mantra of this Poojaa is --
"Gajkarnaaya namah Tulasee Patram Samarpayaami"
