more about our days - the three parts of the day like

(1) Aadhi Daivik
(2) Aadhi Bhautik
(3) Aadhyaatmik

health - Shiv - Kaali
wealth - Vishnu - Lakshmee

Three Prakriti of all human beings - Cough, Pitta, Vaat

In the same way, in a Ashwatth tree
Moolato Brahm Roopaaya, madhyato Vishnu roopine,
Agrata shiv roopaaya Vriksh Raajaya tey namah. --1

salutations to the king of trees.
Whose root is the form of Brahmaa,
Middle part is the form of Vishnu,
And top part is the form of Shiv
Moolam means root Midddle is trunk, Agra means Top portion containing branches and leaves

These are all three forms of God to show the three actions (1) Creation (2) Conservation and (3) Destruction. All the three actions are required for the existence of the world. Without creation one cannot conserve and without destruction one cannot create We Hindus believe in re-birth. As the great poet Kabeer . the mendicant poet, said when the cloth becomes dirty, it is to be changed. The Aatmaa will not perish but only the form perishes as per our belief.

As Aadi Shankar said God is Omnipresent, Omnipotent, and Omniscient but is only a witness to all our deeds irrespective whether it is good or bad and is Ni-Gun Brahm . To attain that God, as a prelude we may pray to our Isht Devtaa, or Kul Devtaa, or any other deity. Although, God is A-Roop, but as ordinary people, we cannot concentrate, and to get concentration we can keep Idols. According to Raamaanuj, God is Sa-Gun, meaning "with attributes", but as Aadi Shankar said "He is Nir-Gun".

Who is God
--Ordinary people consider the idols of Ganesh, Eeshwar, Krishn etc in temples or in their houses as Gods. They get what they desire by praying to these idols only because of their devotion.
--The Vaidik who perform Hom, Yagya etc, consider the fire (Agni) as God and they offer Havishya (offerings) to God through the fire only and get what they desire.
--Those who believe in the Puraan believe in Gods with Gun and having shapes and Roop like Indra, Aaditya, Vishnu, Eeshwar, etc, These gods have their own wives, children, vehicles for transportation weapons etc.
--However, those who have an insight into the Upanishad believe that God is neither male nor female, does not have a body etc. He is the World and all creations. There is nothing without Him.
