4-Shiv Feeds Everybody

Once, Maataa Paarvatee asked Shiv Jee - "People say that you feed everybody? Is it true?" Shiv Jee said - "Yes, Paarvatee" Paarvatee Jee said surprisingly - "But how can you keep track of everybody? There are trillions and trillions of living beings in the Brahmaand (Universe)." Shiv Jee said - "Paarvatee Jee, I do keep the track of everybody. That is my job." "Even the smallest one?" "Yes, Paarvatee, even the smallest one."

Paarvatee Jee was still not satisfied with Shiv's statement. So one day she decided to test his words. Paarvatee Jee hid a small ant in her Sindoor (red vermilion which all married Hindu women use as their daily essential wearing in their hair parting) box. That box had only Sindoor, nothing else.

Now she had an opportunity to test Shiv Jee. She reminded him again about his statement, if it was still true. Shiv Jee said - "Yes, Paarvatee, it is still true." Paarvatee Jee smiled and said - "No Swaamee, This time you are defeated." and she took out that box and opening it said - "See there is an ant here whom you have forgotten to feed."

Shiv Jee said - "How did it happen, let me see." Paavatee Jee showed him the box. Shiv Jee said smilingly - "Paarvatee, see for yourself." Paarvatee saw inside the box and found that small ant was eating a grain of rice. She was very surprised to see this, because when she kept the ant in that box, nothing was there except Sindoor, where did this rice grain come from? She got convinced with Shiv Jee's statement that he used to feed everybody.
