9-The Hen Who Laid Golden Eggs

There was a man who somehow had a hen who used to lay two golden eggs everyday. The man was very happy with this arrangement. Everyday he used to take those two golden eggs and sell them in the market. Whatever money he got after selling them he used to buy his household things and to bring up his little children. They were living happily. Everybody knew that that man had a hen who used to lay two golden eggs and that was his all income.

One day one of his friends said to him - "Friend, You daily take these two eggs to market and sell them there, it is not an easy money. Why don't you take out all eggs from her stomach at once."

He liked the idea, but was hesitant to implement it. A few more days passed but he could not kill that hen. One day he decided to implement that idea because he found the truth in his friend's advice, and he was really tired of taking those eggs to market daily.

So next day when he went to take the golden eggs, he picked up the golden eggs, then he held the hen by her neck and cut it through. Poor hen was dead. With great excitement to get all the golden eggs together, he opened her stomach but as he opened her stomach, he couldn't find anything in it. He looked for the golden eggs here and there, left and right, up and down, but there was nothing inside.

He got very disappointed. He cursed his friend. He abused himself that in which bad moments he intended to implement this idea. But nothing could be done now. He had lost his hen, he had lost his golden eggs, he had lost his fairly good income.

[The man was so greedy that he lost his hen as well his money. Somebody has sad rightly that greed is not good.]
