Satyaarth Prakaash-1
Quoted from Styaarth Prakaash, by Dayaanand Saraswatee, Saarvdeshik Press, Delhi. Vikram Samvat 2014.

p. 36 - Who Can Teach Whom (Sushrut Sootra, Adhyaaya 2)
A Braahman can teach all the three - Kshatrya, Vishya, and Shoodra; a Kshatriya can teach to two Vaishya and Shoodra , and a Vaishya can teach only to Shoodra after doing their Upanayan Sanskaar. And if there is any Shoodra with all kinds of good and auspicious qualities, he could be taught all Shaastra except Mantra Sanhitaa.
[I have heard that Shoodra are eligible for Upanayan Sanskaar]

p 37-38 - Brahmcharya [Chhaandogya Upanishad, Prapaathak 3, Khand 16]
Brahmcharya is of three types - Kanishth (lowest), Madhyam (medium) and Uttam (highest). Kanishth Brahmcharya is necessary for this Sthool body. It is necessary to maintain Brahmcharya for 24 years to get educated. Ths helps him to make his body powerful and healthy. Madhyam Brahmcharya is when a man maintains Brahmcharya up to the age of 44 years and studies Ved. He gets more powers than the Kanishth one. The Uttam Brahmcharya is up to 48 years of age. As there are 48 letters in Jagatee Chhand, in the same way maintaining the Brahmcharya up to 48 years, one's Praan accept all kinds of Vidyaa favorably.

p 37 - States of This Body (Sushrut Sootra, Adhyaaya 35)
There are 4 states of this body - (1) Vriddhi (growth) - All kinds of things in the body grow from the 16th year to 25th year. (2) Young Age - In the end and during the beginning of the 26th year one's young age starts

p 49-51 - How to Attain Moksh
Dravya (materials), Gun, Karm, Saamaanya, Vishesh and Samavaaya - knowledge of these 6 gives us Moksh.
There are 9 Dravya (materials) - Prithvi, Jal, Tej, Vaayu, Aakaas, Kaal, Dishaa, Aatmaa and Man (mind).
Dravya is that in which there are either Gun or Kriyaa and Gun. Among them Prithvi, Jal, Tej, Vaayu, mind and Aatmaa - these 6 have both Kriyaa and Gun, Aakaash, Kaal (Time) and Dishaa - these three have only Gun, not Kriyaa.
By which the aim (an object) is known is called Lakshan; such as Roop is known by eye, so eye is called Lakshan.
Prithvi's Gun are - Roop, Ras, Gandh and Sparsh. Among them Roop, Ras and Sparsh are by the combination of Agni, Jal and Vaayu.

As Gandh Gun is natural in Prithvi, in the same way Ras is in Jal; Roop in Agni; Sparsh in Vaayu and Shabd in Aakaash are natural.

With Roop, Ras and Sparsh, the Jal is called liquid and soft; but among them Ras Gun in Jal is because of the combination of Roop Gun in Agni, Sparsh Gun in Vaayu. Coolness in Jal is also natural.

Tej has Roop and Sparsh; but in this Roop is natural and Sparsh is because of the combination of Vaayu..

Sparsh is the Gun of Vaayu; but warmth, coolness, Tej are in it because of Jal.

There are no Roop, Ras Gandh, and Sparsh in Aakaash. There is only Shabd in it.

Other Gun do not appear from Prithvi etc, so Shabd and Sparsh Gun are not of Prithvi; but Shabd is the Gun of Aakaash only.

In whichever Apar Par (Yug), Ek-vaar (Chir), Vilamb, Sheeghra etc words are used, it is called Kaal.

When there is something in East, South, West, North, Up or below - that is called Dishaa. To whichever side the Sunrises, it is called East direction. Where he sets is called West. When a person is standing facing East, to his left is North and to his right side is South. Among these Dishaa,
the middle direction of East and South is called Aagneya;
the middle direction of South and West is called Nirriti;
the middle direction of West and North is called Vaayavya, and
the middle direction of North and East is called Eeshaan.

Where are Raag (desires), Dwesh (enmity), Purushaarth (efforts), Sukh, Dukh and desire to obtain Gyaan, that is called Jeev Aatmaa.

Praan (exhaling), Apaan (inhaling), Nimesh (covering the eye), Unmesh (lowering the eyelid), Jeevan (bearing the life), Man (deliberation or Gyaan, hunger, thirst, fever, pain, they all are the characteristics of the body.

By which one cannot obtain Gyaan of two things together, that is called Man.
This was all the characteristics of Dravya, now listen to Gun

Whatever is received from ears, known from Buddhi, can be shown  by use and whose dwelling place is Aakaash, that is called Shabd.

p 54
what is evil or opposite knowledge, that is called A-Vidyaa. A-Vidyaa is born from the faulty Indriyaan and sanskaar. And whatever is real knowledge is called Vidyaa.
