After the incident of Jayadrath, one day Rishi Maarkandeya came to see Paandav in Kaamyak Van. He was a great comfort giver through his stories and advice especially to Yudhishthir. When he came before, he told Yudhishthir that he was not the only one who was suffering like this in Van. Then he told the story of Raajaa Nal (Read Story of Raajaa Nal Here). This time he told him the story of Raam and the story of Saavitree (Read Story of Saavitree here) who was able to outwit Yam, Devtaa of Death, and saved the life of her husband. Maarkandeya knew how unhappy was Yudhishthir, he made this last year of exile bearable for him. This last year seemed longer to them in comparison to the last 11 years. A year and a few months more and they will kill all Kaurav and that Karn. But Yudhishthir's worry was increasing day by day. He had been comforting and consoling Bheem and Draupadee all these years but they didn't know that how difficult was for him to control his own feelings. He was so much disturbed that he again moved to Dwait Van.
