Dhritraashtra and Bheeshm are Disturbed

Dhritraashtra is disturbed and sad again, because he can visualize his crown being snatched away once more. He could never forget that he was the eldest son of Kuru family, but now Yudhishthir was the eldest son of Kuru family. Gaandhaaree was trying to explain Duryodhan that Yudhishthir was his elder brother, but Duryodhan was very stubborn, so she requested Dhritraashtra to explain this to him.

Dhritraashtra said - "When I have not been able to console myself that there was no injustice done to me by crowning Paandu as Raajaa of Hastinaapur, then how can I console him? Duryodhan was always told that he would be the king after me. Even Kripaa had educated him with the same idea, then how can I say to him now that Yudhishthir is your elder brother, and you will have to prove yourself by your actions that the first right on Hastinaapur is yours."

Gaandhaaree said - "He is better than Paandu's sons in education and he will be better in future also." Dhritraashtra said scared "But if he could not do better then?" Gaandhaaree said - "Then it will prove that he is not worth for the throne of Hastinaapur. This all is matter of fate. This is fate line, it cannot be erased."  Dhritraashtra asked - "Then our Karm are nothing?"

Gaandhaaree said - "Why not. Fate line is not the string which can tie a man, fate is the story of a man's life, therefore it is not good for a man to blame his fate for his own actions. Do not think that you are the father of Duryodhan, rather think yourself as the king of Hastinaapur and to do justice is your duty."

Gaandhaaree was embarrassed at Duryodhan's behavior. She told Kuntee that she had doubts about her brother Shakuni. She was scared of him lest Duryodhan is misguided by him. She requested Kuntee also to pray that Shakuni could not misguide Duryodhan.

Bheem is angry at Duryodhan's behavior. Yudhishthir consoled him - "To which you are saying his ill treatment, the same is his nature. Forgive him. Forgiveness takes you near Bhagavaan, and forgiveness is such a weapon which has no counter."

Shakuni came to Dhritraashtra and said that he could not tolerate the injustice done to his son Duryodhan. Dhritraashtra said - "Then what should I do? Should I send Kuntee to Van along with her children?" Shakuni said - "No, You will have to take care of these orphan children of your brother, but there was no need to give Paandu's palace to them. By giving that  palace you have sowed the seeds of being king in them. Bheeshm is protecting Hastinaapur, but you will have to protect your son. He is also a child."

Bheeshm is also sad. Vidur asked the reason, Bheeshm said - "Our values of life are breaking up. When the gardener does not like his own garden's all flowers, and if he wants to give all sunshine to only one flower instead of all, then think about the future of that garden. Besides that flower will also die soon because of excess of sunshine. I am very much dissatisfied with the present and worried about the future." Vidur said - "Time is one like a flowing river. For our convenience we have distributed it in present, past and future."

Bheeshm said - "When this present will be past then we all will be on pages of history, but today we are live and doing our roles, but we should know first our roles as what role we are doing." Vidur said - "The whole truth of life is that we don't know our roles fully. If we could know them fully then Karm have mean no meaning. A human being is the only living being in the world who has full right to do or not to do anything." Bheeshm said - "Send Paandu's sons to Gurukul on an auspicious day."

Bheeshm was indeed worried. He went to his mother Gangaa. Gangaa asked - "Putra, Why are you so sad?" Bheeshm said - "Maa, There is no limit of my sorrows. I am lamenting for the values of life, for that line which our ancestors drew between the truth and the untruth."

Gangaa said - "Putra, You know that ladder is only one. The same is used to climb up and the same is used to climb down. But a ladder, no matter how high it is, has to end somewhere; and then one has to climb down from there; and when people climb down, all those things are certainly crushed under their feet on whom they put their feet to climb up. At that time they grab whatever comes in their hands for their help. This is the age of Bhaarat's downfall. Don't be disappointed, human being knows to build ladders. To get Amrit (nectar or Ambrosia) one has to churn the sea, and then has to drink poison also coming out of that sea, and somebody has to drink that poison. so you have taken birth here only to drink that poison. This is you Karm."

Now both Kaurav and Paandav used to play in royal gardens. Bheem was the strongest among all. He defeated all Kaurav princes in any game. Kaurav did not like this at all. He enjoyed teasing and humiliating Kaurav also. But the heart of Duryodhan was full of hatred and anger. Till now he was the sole master of the entire palace now, or say of Hastinaapur throne. He could not tolerate their coming to his palace.

On the other side Dhritraashtra and Shakuni were fanning Duryodhan'sideas.
