Question 1 - In Geetaa 4/1 Shlok, Krishn says to Arjun that He told this Yog (Karm Sanyaas Yog) first to Soorya, and then Soorya told it to to his son Vaivaswat Manu and Vaivaswat Manu told this to his son Ikshwaaku. What is the reason of telling this Yog in this sequence? Why Krishn told this Yog first to Soorya?
Ans. Soorya is supposed to spread light all over the Earth. To tell anything to Soorya means that it is for everybody to know, that is why Krishn told it to Soorya Dev so that he would spread it through out. Soorya told it to his son Manu, because Manu was his son and by passing on to him, the message would be spread in turn to all the people in the world through him. The same this happened - Manu told to his son Ikshwaaku and this tradition continued for some time, but then somehow this tradition broke and the knowledge of that Yog got disappeared.
