Predictions

The mode of directions employed appears to be based on the transit of major planets in certain Pad as reckoned from the Pad in which the Lagna and the planets are situated...
'One should predict the future according to Vashishth (Sanhitaa); the past by Gaargya Sanhitaa and, and the present by Jaiminee.'

Jupiter the Lord of the 2nd House and 11th House, is in the 10th and aspects the 2nd. If he is in the first Ansh, his mother becomes a widow.

The Lagna is in the 95th Pad. At this stage Goddess Paarvatee Jee is said to intercede and say: "Then we should take Mrigashiraa 1. This is the 17th Pad. The 63rd from this is Kaal Gyaan. If there were planet in Kaal Gyaan he would have died after marriage.

As the lords of the 12th and the 6th are in one sign, the former behind the latter and as there is no mutual aspect between them in the Navamsa, the native has Poorn Aayus or full term of life.

The Naadee suggests a planet in the 84 Pad from Saturn's position and the 97th Pad from the Moon's position give Baal Arisht.
We should explain that Pad is equal to a quarter Nakshatra which in turn is equal to one Navaansh. There are 27 Nakshatra so there are 27 x 4 = 108 Pad, this is the same as 12 signs X 9 Navaansh = 108 Ansh. Baal Arisht means death in childhood.

"Venus is the Lord of the 4th House, he is in Maghaa 3, i.e., the 39th Pad. The 83rd Pad from this Pad is Vainaashik Pad. Saturn is in Rohinee 1. When Saturn enters Rohinee 2, the mother dies. The native's point of death (Aayus) is in Hast 2. When Maarak [death inflicting] planets transit this point the person dies."

"When Saturn enters U-Bhaadraa 4, grandfather dies on a Friday. Before the native completes Jupiter-Jupiter period. Every property will have been lost and the grandfather will not have a single penny to give. The native will have all his children born to him before he is 42 years of age."
